徳川おと将軍の弟であっても殺される事がある！
その御霊を祀るために姥が建立したお寺です
実際のお墓はお許しが出た後に別の場所に建立されています！

静かなお寺

水道橋駅から歩いて約１０分，住宅地の中にある静かな雰囲気のお寺です。徳川家に縁あるお寺とのこと。人が少なく中に入れる雰囲気ではなかったため，外からお参りしました。

昌清寺は、元和元年（1615）に徳川忠長（家光の弟）の母お江が、自害した忠長の菩提を弔うため、忠長の乳母お清の方を開基として、天蓮社龍譽上人冷吟和尚（寛永14年寂）を開山に迎えて創建されたそうです。

こんなところには頼まない

田舎から出て来たこともあり違うお寺と間違えてしまいました。
大変失礼な事をしたと思い謝りましたが
怒鳴られるように追い返されました。
葬儀やお墓を作るわけではないので優しくしろとは言いませんがこんなところに任せようとは思いません。
こんなに良心のないお寺もあるんだなと思いお寺選びの参考になりました。
ありがとうございました。

徳川忠長ゆかりの寺

昌清寺は、本郷1丁目にある浄土宗の寺院です。門前の説明書きによると徳川家光の弟である忠長ゆかりの寺とのことです。この寺院の開基は、朝倉きよ（お清の方）で忠長の乳母です。父二代将軍秀忠、母お江は、忠長を次期将軍職を譲ろうと考えていたが、家光の乳母春日局が家康に直訴に及んで、三代将軍は家光となった。忠長は、駿府城主となったが、なお大阪城主を要請したため、家光の怒りにふれ、領地没収、高崎城に幽閉され自害したとのこと。事務所、本堂等は鉄筋コンクリートのものでした。静かなお寺でした。神社仏閣、歴史に興味がある方は参拝されては如何でしょうか。尚、墓所は、数年前に参拝した高崎市の大信寺です。

満開の桜が美しい！

文京区の裏通り沿いにある小さなお寺です。たまたま通りかかったところ、満開の桜がとても美しかったです。得した気分になりました。

徳川家光の弟・忠長の菩提寺

水道橋駅から長くて急勾配の忠弥生坂を上りきったあたりにあります。
徳川家の家紋・三つ葉葵が見えましたが、その割には地味な感じのお寺でした。
それは、三代将軍家光の弟でありながら幕命により自刃した者をひっそりと弔わなければならなかったからだと思われます。

古めのビルが立ち並ぶ町のお寺です

浄土宗の寺院で、嶺松山弘願院と号します。文京区の本郷一丁目の北京中医薬大日本校の近くにあります。徳永忠長の供養をしているお寺です。
