Review of: NEW! Online Tsukemen (dipping ramen) class
This online class with the ever lively, knowledgable and lovely Yuca was just a super fun way to pass an hour, learning something new and finishing with a lunch all prepared. Cant recommended it highly enough. Yuca sent through an email of ingredients and equipment needed a few days before. It was a super simple and clear list (with alternatives if you cant find what may be some niche products depending on location as was my case). Then at the confirmed time we went online, had a lovely chat first and then started cooking. A natural teacher and sparkling presenter Yuca has an easy way to move from one element to the other and has her method down pat so it was all very smooth and easy.. It is also a very affordable way to take a cooking class. I enjoyed it so much I am ready for another. Thank you Yuca. It was almost like being in your superb class in Tokyo and will suffice until we can get back again.…

YUCa was a great experience. Great facilities and superb 1/1 tuition. We had lots of fun making and then eating Gyoza and Miso based Ramen. YUCa ‘S English is perfect and we also had fun learning some Nihongo words for ingredients and cooking styles. A relaxing morning to learn a new skill. I also bought some fun merch!…

Review of: NEW! Online Tsukemen (dipping ramen) class
My wife and I had a delightful time learning how to make Tsukemen soup on YUCa’s online course. She guided us through the entire process, taking the time to teach us new cooking techniques and how to improve old ones. If you’re interested in Japanese food, we would highly recommend taking her online cooking course. The meals are easy to make and they’re super tasty!…

We all had a fantastic time! We’ve been in lockdown since March, YUCa’s cooking class really helped in feeling less isolated and was a wonderful experience for my sons (I’m fortunate enough to have had a cooking lesson with YUCa in person a couple of years ago). YUCa was absolutely brilliant in explaining everything and engaging all of us that even my seven year old could participate in making mochi ice cream. My fourteen and seven year old sons enjoyed the session very much, we all agreed it was great fun as well as the best tasting mochi ever! Looking forward to booking another class with YUCa soon!…

A total highlight of the trip to Japan. Yuca has a cooking studio in her charming house in a quiet residential neighborhood. She cheerfully guides you through the preparation of Japanese comfort food including miso soup and gyoza. It’s fun and everyone ends up with a little better understanding of Japanese cuisine. All 4 teen/young adult children loved it. We bought 2 bottles of her husband’s sake as a souvenir. …
