Marakele Animal Sanctuary is a peaceful encounter with nature, at the braai area you can relax, braai and enjoy some game visiting. Most important for all the ladies there is proper toilet facilities at the braai area.

We had a short trip to this reserve to see the Big 5. Really beautiful scenery in the park close to Thabazimbi so you can even get her from JHB in a day.

It's a place where the animals are brilliantly looked after and seem very happy with their well-kept conditions. So much to see and do!

It's a zoo. But unlike most zoos, where the big cats ignore you, the leopards and lions here REALLY like attention. While the signs say not to pet the animals, if a lion cub sticks its back fur through the fence, what would YOU do?
