We tried to drive into the Reserve but a mud filled bog halted our progress. We saw a couple of groups of well equipped backpackers, and we were only prepared for beach going. From google maps satellite I could see we were still a couple of clicks from the beach and it was an unshaded walk. So we drove back... More

Stop at the agriturismo up top and pay around 5 euro. Drive part way down and walk to through the woods to discover a untouched beach paradise.

We discovered that it is possible to arrange a free naturalist-guided tour of the beautiful Riserva. With help from Google Translate, we contacted WWF staff to schedule a tour for our family group of eight people. The staff called to confirm the day before, and we met them at their office in Siculiana. Then we followed one of the staff... More

I went here on a whim with my fiancee as we were looking for a nice beach. We weren't there during busy season, but we were also not expecting to see zero other humans for two hours. We had the beach entirely to ourselves and it was gorgeous. The undulating rock-walls at one side are bizarre and wonderful when compared... More

We reached the beach after a few km of dirt road immersed in the nature. The road is very narrow and two cars hardly can pass, so it's rather annoying. However, at the end there's quite a large park (2 or 3 € ticket). After a few min walk, the beach appears very large and great. At the time we... More

Untouched nature, a huge beach. To visit for a relaxing day at sea. Ideal to spend a day at sea with your partner or family. Equipped facilities available, before the nature reserve, with restaurants overlooking the sea.

Very nice place. Mostly like scala dei turchi but less people . Prepare to drive a long way with narrow sandy road . So much wave, such a long beach with loads of rocks!!! Nothing really special . But it was enjoyable and fun time. Went there jusy becoz its less people . And i hear that was another entrance... More

Follow the signs to the WWF nature reserve done a single track dusty road. Parking is 3 euro for the day and the beach is a 5 min walk this beach is sandy and good for swimming and does not have the rocks etc like scala di turchi. Although if you walk for 30mins there are rocks etc good for... More

Good to visit the "turkish scales" at sun down, you'll get very nice pictures :). The access need 15 min of walk down the rock, through the beach then up on the white scales.

Fabulous beach stretching many kilometres and for once on sicily we appreciated the poor organisation and lack of information from the Sicilian authorities as this probably helps to keep this place quiet. We couldn't get to the WWF centre as the dirt track was blocked by tree cutters so we followed advice from another TA reviewer and headed just back... More
