Great views of Arucas and Las Palmas. Have few viewing points where you can spot banana plantations and magnificent church in Arucas. In a clear day the views are amazing. There is also posh looking restaurant at the top popular with locals. The road up the mountain is a bit winding and steep with a nice views but not for... More

It takes only 20 minutes by car to this nice view spot. The hill top place offers 360 degrees view, and we could see not only Las Palmas but also Teide toward Galdar. The town of Arucas (5 minutes by car) was also charming. Worth a visit from Las Palmas.

A good place to visit on a clear day for great views of Arucas and the surrounding area. Also, look over the walls at the viewpoints and you may spot lizards basking in the sun amongst the plants. There's a nice relaxing cafe at the top where you can sit with a drink or a coffee.

A winding spiral road takes you to the flattened former vulcatic crater, some 500 meters above the sea. The view is pretty rather than breathtaking (like the Caldera in La Palma, which I reviewed last year). Mysteriously, no cafe at the top -- only a full-service restaurant, which was closed in the morning.

The road up this 300 000 year old hill goes around the hill as it goes up. A very nice construction! At the top you will have a beutiful view of Arucas, Firgas and many other small cities. On clear days you may also spot Las Palmas:) You will also find a nice resturante at the top.

You drive up lots of twisty narrow streets to get to the top, but the views are well worth it. You can not only see the town below, but out to the coast and beyond. We went on a Saturday in March, and the restaurant at the top was closed (not sure if it is closed permanently or not) which... More

The Montaña de Arucas is well worth a visit for the spectacular view. It's a cone-shaped mountain just to the north of the town. If you have a satnav it is easy-peasy to get there. it is actually listed on the Garmin satnavs and programmed in, but if you have another make, just look for the spiral road whirling round... More
