Very very poor market. No idea why this is on the things to do list. We thought it would be authentic crafts but just rows and rows of cheap clothes. Disappointed to have wasted a journey to it and half a day. Many more nicer places to see and enjoy. Don’t waste your time. Nicer things to be had in the shops.

Inca market is down as being the biggest market on Mallorca, so after visiting Santanyi Market the day before we was expecting something better.
It wasn't, in fact it wasn't a patch on Santanyi!
Inca is a big town and parking is a nightmare, we managed to find one public car park that was underground and free, but it was very tight manoeuvring through the small car park and it was full.
You basically have to drive round the streets till you are lucky enough to find a space, which is sheer luck.
The market is huge and spread over a big area but it's pretty much the same old tosh, leather handbags, belts, purses etc but each stall has exactly the same items for sale.
There are plenty of clothing and fabric based stalls, some token gift items, and a small corner with food produce. To be honest it's not that great, once you've done about 10 minutes your basics going to see the same stuff over and over again.
Inca town doesn't add to the ambience either it's not a very enticing place to be.
Santanyi is far better albeit smaller and a whole lot interesting to walk round.

I would rate this is a "must visit" place for those staying in the north of the Island.
A huge variety of stalls every Thursday selling fashion, cheaper than at resorts; trinkets and ornaments; and food for those staying self-catering accommodation. It is a haven for locals as well as tourists, and you must haggle as the locals do!
If you need a break there are stacks of local cafes and bars.
In the event of sickness or an accident I can also recommend the local hospital!
The only reason I downgrade it is because of the problem of finding a taxi when the market closes - streets are full of traffic, and locals unable to help. Not a problem for those travelling from Palma, of course.

Tooour four teens to Inca on the train from Lloseta. Easy 6 minute journey on a modern clean train.
Market is very large with lots of stalls - selling everything from chiros to sunglasses and pottery.
Kids enjoyed wandering around the stalls and shops in the town centre. We also stopped for a couple of drinks in one of the many cafes dotted around.
Inca isn't as pretty as some of the resorts but prices for food/drink and other things are often considerably better value and the town is a very vibrant commercial centre.

Be brave and have a haggle, they expect it and respect you for the interaction. Huge bags of Pistachio nuts was my favourite buy and lots of fresh local produce

If haggling for fake designer bags is your thing then you will probably enjoy this large market. Free underground car parking just 150 to 200 meters away is available by the train station in street Carrer dels malferits but to get a space you need to arrive reasonably early.

The market was fantastic, easily you could spend the full time here wandering around the many streets packed with stalls. There is an abundance of fresh foods, plants and local handmade wares. Lots of traditional Spanish clothes and jewellery and home wares around the main square. The further down you go, there are also more tourist stalls with fake designer items and merchandise/souvenirs.
Top tip: there's a fantastic bakery right at the corner of the main square (tablespoon bakery) must visit for their croissants!!

The Inca market is open form 08h30 to 14h30.
We were lucky enough to find a parking spot near the market, otherwise parking one’s car is a real nightmare.
We were very disappointed by the market.
The very few authentic stands that sell local products are drowned in the mass of the ones that sell fake products for tourists.
We have asked one of the sellers about the authenticity of his leather products (Inca being the town known for its leather industry on the Island) and he told us that there were fake.
If you are looking for an authentic market in majorque, I think you will have better chances with the smaller ones in the nearby cities.

This is by far the worst market and town I ever been visited in Mallorca. Dirty town and with the exception of a few genuine craft stalls, the market is full of rubbish products.

It's alright to have a quick visit if you are around but it's nothing special actually. It's a little bit boring, same as the city of Inca which I found it had nothing super to show...
