A unique experience for the whole family, admission for a family a bit expensive but very warm hosts. There is a lot of love and passion for the animals in it. An oasis of tranquillity, a lot of knowledge is imparted by means of QR code and by the host himself. It is definitely worth it, you can feed the animals yourself (feed costs 5.- per bowl full of animal-friendly feed).

We spent a great couple of hours here during our stay. We paid just under £80 for three adults and three children to enter with food. The park isn’t massive but we had 2 5 year olds with us who enjoyed spending some time in the shared play area. The staff are so knowledgable and clearly passionate about what they do. We were just out of season for an ostrich egg omelette unfortunately, we missed it by a day but we did eat in the park and were surprised at how delicious the food was! We had hummus and pitta, chips and tomato rice with eggs shared between all of us. Reasonably prices and good ice cream selection for the children and adults: the park is a must visit for any ostrich lover!

We found the farm by coincidence when scrolling for activities in Mallorca. We were so happy we did. The whole experience was amazing. The people running the farm were lovely people. They would tell all about the farm and the ostrich. You could feed the ostriches yourself and they were really funny. We spend the whole afternoon laughing and having fun here. They also make amazing art with the eggs and leather and we can’t wait to display our egg at home. 10/10 would recommend with or without kids if you want a fun day!

It is easy to miss when driving there with a very sharp turn from one direction and poor signage. There was a very friendly welcome from the owner who set the scene and organised a training session on feeding the ostriches. They peck very hard and gloves are provided for protection. The entrance fee for the two of us was 40 euro including two bowls of food – one of greens and one of seeds and grit. There are several sitting areas around the enclosure to watch the birds as well. They tend to approach as soon as they see an out-stretched hand and are eager for the food. As a close encounter with a good number of ostriches it was a very welcome and unique hour. Probably just a once in a lifetime experience with no need for a return. Our children would certainly have loved it in years now gone by.

What an amazing find! From the road, it appears as a small area, away from the road. When we went inside, it expanded into a large area with thirty free roaming ostriches. And the best part, you can feed them (a bowl of food on entry with the ticket, but you can also buy more bowls of food). There are information points around the edge of the grazing land and the birds are inquisitive and eat from your hands. This family owned farm was an absolute joy. There is lovely area to have a coffee next you the birds too. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Artestruz is a zoo with a lot of ostriches, which is located in the center of Mallorca Island, in Campos town. Here, you can touch, feed to ostriches, or only walk, take photos and see these animals. In fact, it is a very nice experience to feed, where you have to be careful. My daughter enjoyed a lot. Really very curious for children (and also for adults). We visited the place during some hours and we also could relax and eat something in the bar. Very nice experience.

We spent a wonderful day at the family-run ostrich farm. From the beginning we were incredibly warmly welcomed – the whole family was very nice, humorous and always helpful. We were particularly impressed by the animals: The ostriches are very tame and trusting, so you could stroke them and even play with them. Another highlight of the day was the ostrich fillet, which we ate afterwards. Overall, it was a very nice and interesting excursion that we can only recommend.

Such a friendly, family run and orientation place. Someone talks to you about the ostriches when you first arrive and explain all about them, how to feed and touch them. There are I think about 25 Ostriches and they all have names and individual personalities. Great fun to feed and touch them, then we stayed for lunch which was delicious, I had ostrich egg omelette and it was super, so light and fluffy. They have kids areas for them to play in too so they are kept happy and a colouring station. Great little shop too with a wide range of Ostrich related items to buy. Highly recommend.

We had a brilliant visit to Artestruz on a sunny January day . We were met with a very warm welcome from Johnny and Ohad the 2 brothers who run the farm . We found it a magical personal experience- the ostriches were so friendly and enjoyed being fed with the specialised diet grains and grit . Sturdy gloves of varying sizes were provided for protection as they pecked away happily at their meal! We learnt lots of interesting facts about them from the brothers as we walked around and then as we enjoyed a refreshing drink in their outside cafeteria area. We couldn’t resist buying a lovely floor standing lamp with an ostrich egg from their boutique.

We visited today the farm is family run and is an absolute joy. The family members greet you and are so friendly we decided to stay for lunch and the food was amazing as was the proprietor who took time to explain the ethos of the farm. Would definitely recommend for a half day excursion.

With two small children how can you deny them the joy of seeing ostriches? The problem is that to enter a dilapidated enclosure and feed the animals for them they paraded 61 € (2 adults and 2 children). A madness for the 15-minute visit in which the ostriches devoured the feed we had bought by weight of gold.

Far too expensive for what you get. For 4 people with 2 dishes eat 80 euros. All you can do is feed.. it was fun to do but 80 euros pfff. By the way, there is no price list so you can see this. The Owner puts you on a list and then you hear the amount

We'd visited Artestruz last time we were in Mallorca (4 years ago), and now that we were free to travel, we wanted to visit again.

We were greeted by Uri, the co-founder, and it was nice to share a moment of reconnection. We'd hoped that our younger son might have the chance to ride an ostrich as our older son had last time, but Jumbo (the only ostrich who had been happy to be ridden) had retired a few months ago. There are hopes that one of his offspring will take over in future, but this may be a little while off yet.

Undeterred, we took our bowls of seeds/stones and 'green chocolate' and went to feed the ostriches.

One of Uri's sons, Jonathan, gave us a briefing on feeding the ostriches and reminded us that while they don't have teeth, they do try to nip things that they can, demonstrating this with a curled index finger. If you choose to feed the ostriches with one of the wooden spoons provided, make sure you offer it flat, else they can nip them and take the spoon with the seeds! Same goes for using gloves to have them eat out of your palm - we saw a few gloves nipped off hands when they weren't being held tightly enough! I even braved the cheeky technique of getting a couple of ostriches to eat out of the feeding bowls over my shoulders (as demonstrated by Jonathan), though much to the horror of some other visitors.

You can walk around the farm to see some of the ostriches that weren't in the feeding area (those that Jabulani had scared off!) and you can sit in with the baby ostriches too, though there were only two of them this year.

Dotted around the farm are QR codes that you can scan so you can listen to an audio guide about ostriches and learn more about these fascinating creatures. It's a great educational experience for all, and it is amazing to be so close to them.

The Loffler family are fantastic and really make you feel welcome on their farm, and their passion for ostriches and education comes through really clearly. The visitor area has a comfortable seating/dining area where Jumbo can usually be found, a kitchen that serves up delicious food (see separate review of Artestruz as a restaurant), a play area for younger children and a boutique selling ostrich-related products.

Artestruz is a great place to spend a couple of hours if you're in Mallorca, and we'd recommend it highly. See you next time!

Despite the friendliness of the staff, it seemed to us that the price asked didn't correspond to the service provided. To summarise, two adults, a three-year-old child and a three-month-old baby paid 50 euros entrance fee, with two bowls of food to feed the ostriches. (We didn't see any billboard with the prices, so the owner asked us whatever he wanted). It took us 15/20 minutes to feed the animals and visit the small gift shop. Apart from that, the small children's park needs a clear renovation and is very dirty. Overall the experience was positive but, given the many positive comments, we expected better.

Absolutely not recommended, pure tourist rip-off. There was an enclosure with large ostriches and a small one for the young animals. There was a short introduction and then you could look at information on your cell phone, that was it. And we paid €50 for that with two adults and one child. The zoo a few kilometers away in St. Eugenia was much cheaper and much nicer.
The farm and the enclosures were very unkempt and small. The ostrich enclosure had no vegetation or other hiding places.

Artestruz is a fabulous place for families with children. We spent about 3 hours there between feeding the ostriches and having the delicious brunch (€15). They have loads of toys around the place and different play areas for small children. It’s a relaxing place and the staff is very friendly and polite. My toddler loved the whole experience and is still talking about the ostriches. It’s amazing that Jumbo (a friendly ostrich) comes to welcome us and allow everyone to stroke him. I would definitely recommend to families and animal lovers and wanna come back next year!

An entertaining activity for families with kids and adults like couples or friends. It's a large farm with +- 50 ostriches and a welcoming owner full fascinating stories and fun. You can purchase two bowls with seeds and greens (green chocolate) to feed the animals. You will learn a lot about the birds from the QR codes on the farm but be sure to approach the staff to get more details. The ostriches are incredible birds who are clean which means that the farm has no smell. You can enjoy a scrambled ostrich egg with a brunch for two (includes cheese, ham, 4 slices of bread, grapes, cherry tomatoes, two slices of watermelon, avocado, an orange juice, a bottle of water and a koffie). You can finish your trip with a visit to the shop where you can buy all kinds of ostrich related things.

This is a must see for animal lovers. The farm has a very casual, friendly and welcoming vibe and it’s clear that the ostriches are very loved. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a giant ostrich (Jumbo) walking around the welcome area. For an additional 5€ you can get a bowl of feed and I would highly recommend! Basically after being introduced to the ostriches you’re given free reign to feed, interact, take pictures and learn more about them. There’s little QR codes across the farm where you can learn more, and you’re free to go at your own pace and stay as long as you like. It was so much fun and incredibly awe-inspiring to be able to interact so closely with such large, unique animals. We stayed for hours. There’s an adorable gift shop where various ostrich souvenirs are sold— they sell ostrich egg shells!! Super unique and cool souvenirs. I absolutely loved my experience here, it was the best part of my trip to Mallorca. I’d go back every day if I could.

Firstly I’ve got to say I’ve seen some other reviews scored heavily down and people saying “only scored high because of how nice the people are” this is unfair on the whole experience. Yes the people are really superb, so polite, welcoming, sense of humour but that is what makes a whole experience isn’t it, customer service doesn’t come easy but this family really does it well. Learning about the Ostrich, feeding, stroking ‘Jumbo’ who was just amazing so mesmerising was absolutely great. Seeing the 5 day old babies was also cool. We also ate an omelette and salad meal there which was also very nice. Yes you are not going to be there all day, but take your time, look around and just enjoy the moment. Thanks to the family there.

What a fabulous place this is! We all loved our visit here on a cloudy & windy day.

The staff were all so friendly & great with our kids. Our kids were both free entry. We paid 5€ for food to feed the Ostriches with.

They explained how to feed & to stoke the Ostriches & we then got to choose spoons and/or gloves to feed them with which was great fun, they are strong & a tiny bit scary but our cholesterol loved this interaction & we’re not frightened.

We then let the children play with the toys & cars etc before we looked around the gift shop, where we were asked if the children would like to hold an egg.

We then decided to have an Ostrich omelette for lunch which was delicious! And we even got to see them break the egg & see how huge the yolk was before they made our omelette & then a friendly Ostrich joined us for lunch!

What a fantastic morning out with a fabulous lunch included!!
