We (group of 9 friends) had an absolutely fantastic afternoon on the Cheeky Mojito sailing round the coastline in Alicante. A huge thanks to our skipper Balta, who was absolutely brilliant. We took food and drinks on board, we were able to play music and we thought it was fantastic value for money to have the boat to ourselves - such a lovely treat. The booking process/communication was first class. Highly recommend.

Just returned from a wonderful week of International Crew training on Cheeky Mojito sailing out of Alicante marina. The location and marina facilities are excellent with everything you need and Skipper Steve was very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. The whole experience was very relaxed but eventful and rewarding. We had lots of laughs but covered everything in the syllabus and I came away feeling very satisfied that I'd learned so much but had a great holiday at the same time. Highly recommended and I'm looking forward to taking the next course as soon as possible.

When my husband suggested a weeks sailing holiday in Spain, I wasn't sure it would be my thing, however I was willing to give it a go. We spent a week on the Cheeky Mojito and we had a blast. From the off, Skipper Steve made us feel extremely welcome and relaxed. Steve's knowledge of sailing and the area was magnificent; he was patient and unflustered considering he had complete novices with him. We enjoyed breakfast on the boat then went out sailing for the day, literally learning the ropes. In the evening we were blown away by the fantastic old town of Alicante - the food was exceptional and varied, On returning to the boat after dinner we were very comfortable sleeping in the double 'state room'. The boat was very comfortable and had all the amenities you need. The marina facilities were clean and functional (there is a hair dryer in the shower block). By the end of the week we were able to sail! We left feeling we had achieved something whilst having a really great holiday. I would recommend this holiday without a doubt even if you are not sure that sailing is for you!

My wife and I have sailed yachts for a lot of years - flotillas and bareboats but never often enough to master some of the harder basics like parking the boat, handling the sails in a blow with just two on board. So we asked Steve if we could have some training in those things plus complete the IYT Bareboat Skipper certificate. Which is exactly what happened. I could write a long blow by blow account of our trip but what you need to know is that Ivan, Steve and Balta all were extraordinarily patient, helpful and great to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and the training was as much fun as it was thorough. The boat is really nice and well maintained - it is clearly their pride and joy and very different from a lot of the boats we have had in the past. We were lucky with Force 4-5 winds and flat seas most of the time and manged to get Cheeky Mojito doing over 9 knots which was exciting. We slept on the boat which was very comfortable and well equipped. Being in the Marina in Alicante was like having a city centre apartment with access to all the town amenities if you wanted them. the beach there is great for sunbathing and swimming after the day's exertions. We had a fabulous time and have to tell you that this is the best yacht charter experience we've had. You have to go. Next time we want to sail across to Ibiza!
