Like many people, I don't approve of bull fighting, however, do try to appreciate its part in Spanish culture. Maybe, because I've been to buildings elsewhere, who have made a far better job of explaining the traditions etc, I found this one very lacklustre. It's...More

A well preserved and maintained bullring and small museum celebrating one of Spain's traditional activities. At the time of our visit the centre of the arena had been turned into an ice rink and there was a couple of roundabouts for kiddies and a less...More

This is the old bull ring and on the northern edge to the old town - only a small walk from the city centre. It is a lovely and impressive building which is currently housing the seasonal outdoor ice skating ring. When there check out...More

A ten minute walk from centre of town brings you to the museum and bullring. I looked around the Interesting bullfighting memorabilia in the museum (free entry) and then went inside the building to the actual bullring. Historical, interesting and sombre all in one. I...More

Excellent part of the old city, many bars and restaurants to choose from and sit and watch the World go by, plenty of historical sites to take in.

We found an open gate and just walked in. Nobody stopped us and we even walked out into the middle of the bullring. Pretty cool I must say. Wish we could have seen a bullfight.

The Plaza at the front of the bullring is very attractive and a good part of town. Indeed there is an excellent statue of the matador and the bulls, well worth a visit. The museum in the bullring is simple and not really a patch...More

Worth a visit even though I do not in any way support bullfighting. We arrived 10.30am on the dot - cleaners still at work! A worker kindly advised us that we could get into the area ring. First we checked out the museum. Would have...More

It is worth to see the arena of corrida from the architectural point of view, because it is nice inside. But the museum of corrida it is completely not for me, because of my opposition to this kind of entertainment. And by the way museum...More

On a rainy morning I was the only visitor to the museum. You can get an overview brochure in English, but all the exhibits are in Spanish only. Nevertheless it's interesting to explore the history. Fortunately as I was leaving, a grounds keeper took me...More
