We visited the Volvo museum which is free of charge, interesting place to visit but not very big in size. The children enjoyed it especially the simulator. Very friendly staff and worth the visit if you visit the port of Alicante.

Gives an interesting view of life onboard and also the history of the race. Just check beforehand if all parts are open. We visited on a weekday and both simulation and the actual ship was closed.

well done museum! good information about Ocean Race, I never imagine before what they have to go through in nine month travel in the water, hard work! and many time hard conditions, my respect to them to be in passion with this sport. I really recommend a visit.

Even if you are not a sailor the Museo is worth a visit. The sense of adventure was all there. Check timings for a visit around a boat.

This was a good walk around the marina which finished off our good days visit to allicante. We were unable to visit the galleon as this attraction was closed
