Day Trip to Algar Waterfalls and Guadalest from Benidorm

153 reviews
A guided day trip makes it easy to visit the towns of Guadalest and Algar from Benidorm in just one day. Admire views from an air-conditioned coach during the drive, and then bypass crowded parking areas to start exploring during free time at each location. Discounted museum entrance fees and included entrance to the Algar Waterfalls add great value to this tour.

Honestly, I have never seen a market as clean, organized and good-smelling market as the one in Alicante. Two floors, fish and veggies at the bottom and cheese and meat at the upper level. Although somehow it's somewhat similar to other mercado in Spain and a little bit smaller--but my visit here was nonetheless worthwhile. It was good to note the history of the place when you visit. The site was bombed many years ago where 300 people died..you have to look for the specific tile on the floor that says the story about the place, it's amazing! More reason to visit this again! 😊

Varied food, fish, meat, sausages and cheese. Some stalls were closed when we visited the market, around 1300, but it was still enough to see and buy

Definitely worth a visit to see the array of stock on offer! The Spanish take a real pride in their produce and how they display it!Very educational for young and old alike.

As markets go, this one is of course interesting though by Spain standards nothing to write home about. Do check out the discount store located mnear the western entrance along the side street for souvenirs and sundries.

Nice medium sized market hall quite close to other attractions in the center. Quite frankly this doesn't compare to the most famous market halls but if you are visiting Alicante the market hall is definitely woth visiting. I was a bit disappointed as there was not too many cafeterians etc. to spend some time in. But on the other hand it's nice that the market hall is still more of a place for the locals to buy food incgredients than a tourist attraction. Tram (metro) stop is located right next to the market hall so easy access also by the tram.
