Good variety of fruits, vegetables, seafood and different things to eat. I only went for the fresh fruits and was not disappointed. Note that the Mercado closes at around 2 PM and that it can also be quite crowded.

One of the largest markets we've ever visited within an impressive building. Fantastic if you need fruit, veg, fish, meat or cheese.

Really easy. It's a 5 minute walk on one road heading towards past the Praça Lucerne. Or a taxi ride. No Uber in Alicante. Very simple. Very close.
