Easy to park for free. Sun-beds €14 for two plus parasol for the day. Clean sand / clean water. Couple of good restaurants. What’s not to like?!

What could be better? A beautiful beach only a few minutes from Alicante City and Marina. Only ten minutes from the airport, and the seafood and tapas restaurants are plentiful. The beach is just 10 minutes from old town.

We went during the off season in late September. The weather was perfect and there weren't a ton of people. One thing you will notice though, is a lot of the peak season restaurants located on the beach are closed. Kind of a bummer, but...More

Stunning beach in Alicante within easy reach from centre by bus. Few restaurants on beach and well services with chairs and umbrellas. Very, very nice !

I could only recommend this beach. It is more quiet than many other beaches and there are not possibly so much services available but for sun bathing and swimming this is a perfect spot. Beach is clean and the sand is unbelievable soft. Cafes and...More

Most people who fly into Alicante stay in the city or go onto Benidorm. San Juan is a lot quieter but the beach is amazing. While there was a lot of people around there was plenty of space on the beach to enjoy. A good...More

Fabulous, long beach just a 20 minute tram journey from Alicante centre. The sun beds were reasonable and ours had the advantage of a very friendly waiter who provided a bar service.

San Juan appears to be more of a suburb of Alicante than a tourist resort. The bonus is, that the beach area is nice and quiet through the week with loads of free parking. Great beach that stretches a couple of miles right into El...More

Gorfeous soft sand, clean sea water, this beach is huge. You can walk for hours. One thing missing is more bathrooms and change rooms. They need a few more facilities. Great place to walk before sunset as you will often be in shade.

My guess would also be about 45 minutes - assume taxi would loop round the back of Alicante

Hi , there's not much going on in that area , in fact even in Alicante itself it's more of a city feeling rather than a seaside resort for tourists . Most bars all around this area are to have a meal and/or a drink and... More
