Great views of Alicante - in the summer months definitely use the lift! We visited it in October and the queues were still quite long.

Excellent edfice, take the lift up from the Esplanade by the beach, if you are a `pensionista' you get it cut rate. Amazing views from the battlements. Good info all around, very interesting.

This is a must for anyone who like Castles or history, the walk up to the castle was up a winding road and the castle was free to enter. the views all around the castle were breath taking and there was plenty to see.

Hi, there is a lift from the main road. Over 65's go free with proof. Once out of the lift the paths are wheelchair friendly. Well worth the effort.

There is s parking area on the top because there is also a restaurant Ereta. The road goes up behind the hill not from the beach side. I don't know about parking charges.
