Cute church set in the heart of a little town by the sea. Very interesting to learn the story of their black virgin Mary. A few locals were praying so obviously was respectful of their time. Outside the church is in a little plaza with...More

A large village with lots of restaurants and some shops. The Basilic is located at a large square and is still used by locals and visitors.

If you are coming by public transport make sure to check timing of buses. It was not very frequent when I visited. Could be due to weekend. Candeleria is amazing place to visit for 3-4 hours if you have nothing much planned.

We walked from Las Caletillas to Candelaria, but the bus Company on Tenerife is called TITSA. They have their routes and timetables on the internet.
