We always enjoy a visit to Candelaria and love to go into the Basilica its not as old as it looks but its a very important building and is very well attended especially during religious festivals.

Amazing Basilica, well worth a visit even for non-religious. Nice open square outside to relax with an ice cream.

Absolutely worth popping in. Do take a look at the side chapels as the wall decorations are stunning. The Madonna is interesting too.

Beautiful Basilca must see ! Go inside and look around - you can even get close up to the Madonna ! and sometimes they have a Carnival there at nightime.

Beautiful building, certainly worth visiting if you are in the area. The square is a lovely space overlooking the ocean and there are some lovely cafes and bars surrounding the area. Definitely get an ice cream here!

Candelaria is definitely a pretty town despite the amount of tourists. The city centre is generally this basilica, square and the statues. The basilica has a free entry so it's worth to come and have a look.

Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer to your question however Candelaria is a popular destination so my guess would be you should be able to get a local pick up to take you there. It's on the way to Santa Cruise Hope... More

We walked from Las Caletillas to Candelaria, but the bus Company on Tenerife is called TITSA. They have their routes and timetables on the internet.
