We went on this boat cruise for an hour to get a better perspective of Bermeo, Mundaka and Elantxobe from the sea. It was well organized and at only 12 euro per person excellent value. We enjoyed going right into the ports and there was a commentary in English explaining the history of them. Well worth it.

The tour provided a great overview of the coast! We had a nice weather and a group that was not so big, so we could stand at the front of the boat and see in all directions, which was an big surplus. The only downside is that the total amount of (recorded) information is 2 minutes, on a trip of 1h. I advice the organisers to provide more information about history of Bormeo the oil platform, other things that are visible, etc. Plus an additional speaker at the front of the boat, so that the sound is strong enough everywhere.

This boat trip is worth the 12 euros. It allows you to see the coastline and some of its well-known sites such as san Juan de gaztelugatxe up close and from a different perspective than if you visit walking. On a bright sunny day it's a great plan and lasts an hour. The boat is really big and clean with seating in the middle and then around the sides so it's easy to get a good view. There is a commentary, however it's impossible to hear over the people talking. I'm not sure if they offer some sort of headphones or something for anyone interested in hearing every word. I had a great time but I had to remove a point as 2 people were smoking behind me for the majority of the trip. I'm pregnant and the boat was full of people with children and I don't see why I should have to move away from my seat to avoid breathing in someone else's cancer inducing fumes. I was really surprised that smoking was permitted and found it disappointing. Please consider banning smoking on your boat. Otherwise a fantastic day. Thank you! Oh and there are toilets on the boat which was useful!
