Here you can buy anything from foodstuffs to clothing. A huge market where you easily can get lost for several hours.

Nice walk around, very busy.

Nice walk around, very busy. Very samey, and can get the same sort of things at local shops etc. The staff on the stands were all very friendly and all made a massive effort with the kids.

Large traditional Spanish outdoor market
Oct 2018 • Family
“Large Spanish Market, with easily in thr hundreds of stalls. Covering several areas its split well into food/snacks, clothing, fresh fruit, veg and other groceries. The cloths there are loads so dont buy at thr first stall.

Easy to access market is travelling on the train. All you have to do is follow the crowd and you will find it.

Only negative is some of the connecting paths between areas were very narrow which cause a little bit of a crowd in these areas. Tordera market takes place every Sunday.

Absolutely great market

Fantastic to visit and in a nice surrounding area. The place becomes very busy but it is lovely to just go with the flow. You have to go on a Sunday. Just take the train and then about a 10 minute walk into town.

Big market, nothing exceptional
Sep 2018 • Solo
This market is quite impressing by its size and the way it’s spread out in the city. But the product you find there can be found in any other market in Spain.

They do have cheap fruit and vegetables.

I would recommend you to go if it is not a sunny day (just like we did).

Just another market...only bigger
May 2017 • Couples
We went to the market expecting an old town setting, with character and interesting architecture. Sadly, this was not the case. While it's a huge market, it is just stall after stall of clothes, some food, and a large selection of live birds and rabbits ( this was the most interesting part of the market). If you want to go to a market, then this one is worthwhile, but of you've already been to others, you can skip this one ( in my opinion). This market is certainly popular as it was very busy today. Lots of locals, and many tourists as well. Some neat food trucks with local fare, adding a bit more interest to this huge market. Parking is not was not easy, but if you are prepared to walk, park outside the market to avoid the chaos.Like everything, my opinion is subjective.

A great Sunday market
Jun 2016 • Couples
Is a great morning out a word of warning the trains only run every hour so check the time table when you get off the train. As with everywhere there is pick pockets about so keep that in mind as it's crowded. Its a bit of a walk once your off the train but well worth it. Wouldn't suggest it for ppl with low mobility are its a lot of walking. It's £5 euros return on the train from marget de mar. It's 2 stops from there.
