I wasn't sure what to expect, but the old spring (well?) is 10 minutes from where I'm staying and I thought, why not?
So not only is this the old spring, where they used to get water for the developing town of Vilassar, but it's also still functioning. (I'll get to that later.)
The museum is two rooms on the main floor giving you and idea of the history of the place, and then you get to go downstairs and see the old wells and some examples of old equipment, and then you can go down even further. It's a short visit and really engaging because basically you're getting an idea of how this town got water back in the day.
As I was leaving I asked the guy (Felix, in English) about where the town got water today. And he said the wells are still functioning but just not in this building. And he took me to the place where the wells produce water which is still a main source of water for the town today. Very cool!
I visited solo, but bring your kids and give them an idea of how towns used to get water.
All the signs are in Catalán only, so if you need help use your phone and Good translate and it will translate everything into English (or whatever).

This museum was a real discovery because it is not so well known. It is a still unknown gem that I recommend visiting.
