Amazing tour

My husband and my parents visited the winery in August, four of us. We arrived unannounced hoping to see the winery and we weren't disappointed. Marti gave us such a fun day, we learned so much about wine and biodynamics and we laughed so much he was such a great tour guide and host. I would recommend this winery and this tour to anyone visiting Vilafranca.

Sharing the Enthusiasim and Passion of Wine

Pinord Winery is smaller than some of the others we visited on the Mediterranean Wine Road but its big in passion and enthusiasm. Marti our host for this experience was very knowledgeable and his love for wine and the Pinord winery was infectious in the best possible way! From our walk thru the vineyard, up to the chapel all the way thru the wine making process we were immersed in the experience.
Last but not least was the tasting. Four cava paired with the local delicacy catanies.
We highly recommend this stop on the La Carretera Del VI.

Beautiful wine and an unforgettable experience!

My husband and I traveled to France and Spain during our trip and this was the most memorable experience that we shared during our travels - well worth the quick drive from Sitges or Barcelona. I emailed the winery at the last minute and Xavier quickly responded with an appointment to tour the winery that afternoon. Our family of six arrived early and they kindly accommodated us. We were quickly greeted by Xavier and he welcomed us with a wonderful glass of sparking rose. We have all traveled extensively and have spent much time in California, Oregon and France wine country….this was a unique and special experience that we will all remember forever. The winery process utilized by the wine producer is a perfect combination of family tradition and new age technology. Their property expands over many buildings and they use bio-dynamic and organic care in their production. You could feel the passion and Xavier's wonderful sense of humor was a perfect touch to an excellent tour. Not only was our two hour experience educational (including the various processes and even barrel tasting), but it was also a very personal experience - not to mention the wines were also absolutely beautiful and very inexpensive. We now just need to figure out how to get it all home with us!

I would highly recommend reaching out to Pinord and scheduling a tour and tasting. We will be back the next time we visit this gorgeous area of Spain.

The tour by Mr. Martin was very thorough. He takes a lot of pride in showing you how wine is made and can answer every question. We bought several white and red wines and are looking forward to bringing them back to the US.

We found this PINORD winery after going through TripAdvisor advice and it turned out to be a total blast! We arrived after-hours at around 2pm after visiting other wineries in the region and didn’t hope to see anything at all, but surprisingly enough they provided a tour guide and a whole tasting experience. The tour guy was so nice, friendly and grounded - the best guide ever! The wine selection is endless, seems like they have a wine for everyone. The prices are very reasonable, so we ended up buying a few bottles, although we initially planned to travel with hand luggage only.
Highly recommended to visit!
