I wanted to thank PROLOCO TREZZO and our Guide Andrea (weather) for making this visit to the Taccani Enel plant very interesting and humane. Details and stories of past and present life around the plant. In the program also the navigation on the Adda with description of the birds and fish that populate the river ..
Beautiful experience.
Thank you!

We came with a dog, so did not go inside. But even on the outside the building is pretty and unique. One can walk around it, watching river flow into the inside and machines outside clear the greens from the water, and then go along the river and enjoy it's clear waters, full of fish and wild swans, and lovely views,

We had time to fill, and wanted to break up a long ride on the superstrada. Well, this "eco-museum" turned out to be a delightful interlude. The lake is pretty and the power plant quite fascinating, even from the outside. (No tours were offered.) We were mesmerized to see the big forks filtering out the seaweed, then moving it along the outdoor conveyor belt to a big container (overflowing on a Monday). While walking, be sure to watch for cyclists, who ride the loop very quickly and don't call out a warning.

Lovely sight, creating energy while not spoiling the landscape. The energy produced is only enough for the town itself though.

A nice little walk near the water. You get to see some historical houses and the power plant. Also, some little restaurants nearby, and boat rentals.

We were here on a Sunday in winter so didn't get to tour the facility, however you can walk right around the outside and along the River Adda. There is a sign describing how hydro power was invented by Leonardo Da Vinci - I didn't realise that. This rather pretty and whimsical looking power station was built in 1909

I was able to visit this place with a guided tour from the Trezzo proloco, it was a nice experience, the guide was very good and precise, the center was very interesting, he highly recommended anyone who wanted to pay a visit should look at the dates on the Trezzo proloco website.

Andrea is an exceptional Guide. The plant is very interesting and it is really worth visiting Trezzo sull'Adda and take the mini cruise on the boat.
