Granite tors swooping down to the road give spectacular view and weird mental constructions of figures and faces in the rocks. Don't expect a Grand Canyon experience, but as Michelin says, it merits a visit if not a detour.

Drove though the valley of the moon and paused for a 20 minute viewpoint break. the exposed granite rock features over this part of Sardinia are incredible and contrast so well against the lush greenery around them. It's worth the trip to this beautiful island...More
