“Escape the Urban sounds”

Close to my hotel this was great for a run in the morning. Or if you would rather walk it is good for that also. With 120 odd steps to exit the park back towards Machida Station it is a good way to finish off. The gardens would look amazing when Cherry Blossoms are in bloom. The local families enjoy this space with their kids. Within the park are large open spaces to allow for play time. There is seating throughout the park where you can sit and reflect in the quiet. Sit beside one of the ponds & watch the carp. There are toilets within the park also a small cafe at the southern end attached to the Museum building. Was a great space to relax.

Good place to relax

Have visted this place for a walk and it was relaxing place with many ponds inside...its close to machida station and one can have good time....

Beautiful park in the middle of the city

A very nice park to visit in the middle of Machida. A short walk from the train and bus station. Located along a small valley including the slopes on the side. Various little pools and gardens along the route. Birds and trees. Just missed the cherry blossoms which was disappointing. At one end is a museum with beautifully done large flower pots. I'm sure the park is quite busy on the weekend. Take your camera, you will surely find some good photos to take.
