昭島では有名な和菓子、洋菓子が一つから買えます。また、壁掛けのような工芸品から、多種類のパンフレットまで、狭い敷地ですが、たくさんありました。応対してくれる方も感じのいい方でした。

昭島駅コンビニ側の階段降りてすぐの昭島観光案内所。近辺の昭和の森やショッピングゾーン、歴史ある神社仏閣など、昭島の見どころ、観光地を丁寧に教えてくれます。

店舗型の案内所ですね。一応昭島の観光関連の資料が置かれているのですがそれより、おみやげの販売の方が目立ちましたね。昭島関連だけでなく姉妹都市の岩泉関連の商品もあるので昭島市民にも岩泉関連の商品を買いにいくのはありだと思います。

昭島市の観光案内所、東京市部のツーリズム関係の施設としては、それなりに充実していました。こういう市区町村単位の観光案内も、これから拡充が求められるでしょう。

駅の階段を下りたところで見過ごして通り過ぎてしまう

中に入ると狭いが、昭島名産の御菓子など買うことできる。なんか地味で、通り過ごしてしまうから、外で試食などを配ればもっと活気が出て売れると思う。昭島名産品の紹介にもなる。勝つ気持たせることだ！

昭島駅階段下に。。

昭島駅階段したにひっそり佇んでいます。昭島市が岩手県岩泉町と提携しており、岩泉のヨーグルトや牛乳など購入できます。あと美味しいお水も。。。昭島観光案内といっても昭島で観光を案内するところはあるのかは疑問。
