府中本町駅から周辺を散策して、府中競馬の近くにあります。鳥居の神社の名前も消えかけていて、神社に関する説明等もなかったです。参拝して帰りました○

府中競馬場脇の小さな神社

府中は古い街なので宗教施設も多くあり、大変楽しめます。矢崎町の熊野神社は古墳で有名な熊野神社ではなく、地元密着型（鎮守？）と思われる小さな神社です。周りは住宅地になっており、境内はひっそりとしています。

小さな神社

府中競馬場の出入り口の南側の路地を入った場所にある小さな神社です。古墳のある熊野神社とは違います。
小さな社に大きな瓦屋根で、あまり見ない構造です。鳥居は江戸時代ですので、古いことは間違いなさそうです。住宅地に幅寄せされて、小さくなっているような感じがします。
