The cafe where we go to cook is right near the station, and very easy to find. Classes start with a a quick recipe guide so we cab see what we're cooking, and have and idea of what to do./ The instructions are clear, and the ingredients are always fresh. Noriko-sensei's English is very good, so if even if your Japanese isn't (like me), there shouldn't be any trouble.
Its always fun, and the food is delicious!

Really had a great time. I went by myself and was such a friendly atmosphere. Instructions were perfect and it was so satisfying to be able to make traditional Japanese food. It all tasted lovely, especially the miso soup and tsukune. Afterwards we got to sit down together, to eat and chat about the food/each other. Definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to cook authentic Japanese food.

I have been living in Japan for close to 4 years now, but this has been one of the best experiences i have had so far. Ms. Tominaga is a very patient and caring teacher; she takes the time to explain the dish we are making, and each step of the process. After we made the dishes, we sat down to enjoy our meal and company. I will gladly come back again to learn more dishes! 5 stars!!!!

I participated in the cooking class with 2 friends, the teacher Ms. Tominaga is very nice, her explanations are clear and we enjoyed learning in a friendly atmosphere. The menu that was suggested covered the things that foreigners are more interested in - Meat balls Teriyaki style, Maccha & sesame pudding, onigiri, traditional miso soup... Thanks to this class, I can cook great Japanese cuisine to family and friends. I recommend you to join the course !

Highly recommended if you want to experience some Japanese culture and to learn some cooking skill that is uniquely Japanese.
It was a great 3hr cooking experience to make the super cute Chara-ben ( Character Bento).
The class was simple and fun, and Noriko and her team was really nice and speak good English and the atmosphere was very relaxing and friendly.
We got to chat over the lesson and while we were eating what we created together about Japanese Culture on top of cooking tips..etc. and also met some new friends who were taking the same lesson too

Noriko's class was very easy, informative, and fun with a great atmosphere. Noriko, Moko and Yoshi were extremely friendly and showed us some really great authentic Japanese Hanami recipes. We would love to go back for another lesson!
