Beautiful autumn leaves
Dec 2019 • Family
A good place to view the autumn leaves. The park is also with other recreational facilities including a zoo. Recommended for families with kids.

Beautiful
Nov 2019 • Solo
I thought this park was beautiful. The area was very trendy with lots of boutiques and interesting shops and the park was full of autumn colour, ducks, fish and just local people hanging out in a park. I thought it was a lovely place to see how Tokyo folk spend their days. Really nice!!

It's only 5 mins walk from the station.

Great trip to nature after the Ghibli Museum
Nov 2019 • Couples
This is a great place to visit after the Ghibli Museum. It is right next door, and is a beautiful place to stroll. The gardens were just starting to turn colors for autumn, and the waters were reflecting the colors. It was beautiful. There is a lovely shrine to the goddess of arts and finance there, and many bridges and walkways to explore.

Lovely place to spend the day for nature lovers
Oct 2019
We happened to be headed to the Ghibli Museum but had some time to spare before our timed entry, so we took some time to enjoy this park. I'm glad we did! It was so beautiful and I wish we could have had more time to spend here. If you love nature, there are lots of little creatures hanging out in the lakes you might spy, we also saw some giant spider webs and the BIG spiders that made them! There is also a zoo, an aquarium, and a cafe located inside. Being only a short walk from the station is also a perk, I will definitely come back, great place for couples or families to take in some nature during a stay in Tokyo.

Tip for vegans: Inoka cafe offers soy milk substitution for their lattes! Their portion sizes are quite large too, considering most drinks I ordered in Tokyo were tiny.

Bonus tip: If you are a train station stamp collecting nerd, you might be interested in the stamps for this park, just make sure you visit the visitor information office.

Hidden Gem on the way to/from Ghibli Museum
Jul 2019
South of Kichijoji Station about 20 minutes west of Shinjuku, the peaceful refuge of Inokashira Koen encircles a small, peaceful lake (pedal boats are available to rent). A central peninsula and the western end of the park hold the Inokashira Park Zoo. At the western end of the lake is the Inokashira Benzaiten, an intriguing collection of historic buildings including a shrine. The Ghibli Museum is located on the southwest edge of the park.

A real oasis in the city
Jun 2019
It can get crowded, especially on weekends, but it's still worth a visit. A stroll down the shaded pathways (the sakura trees burst into bloom in late March or early April) and a boat ride on the lake offer a good escape from the hustle and bustles of the concrete jungle that's Tokyo. And even when it's crowded, the crowds are never loud and unruly.

Great park for viewing the Sakura blossom
Mar 2019 • Solo
Great park. I went there since it was recommended as a nice location to see the Sakura blossom and indeed it was. Basically the park is located around a huge pond with a lot of floating vehicles on the water. Because of the Sakura season it was very crowded and I really enjoyed my visit here. To get there requires a short and pleasant walk from Kichijoji station.

Urban park
Jun 2019 • Solo
This park is just a few minutes from the Kichijoji Station and shopping street. It is also surrounded by many private houses which they can visit the park any time. Around this park are many shops allowing visitors to do shopping and buying F&B.
In the park there are also zoo, shine, etc. You can take boat rowing on the water. It is also a place for walking, running, photographing, relaxing, etc.
