Reyna is an amazing chef and generous host. Her recipes were easy to follow and we all learned a lot about traditional Zapotecan cooking. Highly recommend spending the day with her to get a real insight into the culture.

Cooking class with Reyna was an unforgettable experience. Like most of the people who live in Teotitan, we started the day by shopping in the local market for fresh ingredients. We walked back to the house with our baskets full of chilies, squash blossom flowers,...More

First of all: Yes, Reyna's house is beautiful and I do not doubt that she is a skilled chef of high standing. My partner and I travel a lot, are not professional chefs but do cook cuisine from a large variety of countries. Coming from...More
