We walked to the summit with 6 kids ranging from 5-10yrs old. It was pretty hard going, but well worth it. It took 3 hrs return, including a test at the top! Take

Climbing "The Rock" is a great way to get away from everything for a bit and immerse yourself in nature.

From Wagga Wagga head out the Olympic Way Past Uranquinty to The Rock, Its about a five minute drive out the Lockhart road. There is a good Powered BBQ area under cover and toilets. Lots of parking.

Look for the Rock Lockhart Road turnoff on your left hand side just before entering town.
A 3km drive will take you to the start of the Nature reserve where there is a parking area with an information shelter.
