- ElisaProvince of Ferrara, Italy1,383 contributionsVery welcome tribute to womenThis year we decided, like many other people, to take advantage of the free entry to the park for all women on March 8th. Truly a laudable initiative, considering that they don't even charge for parking, which is now quite rare, if not unique. There are so many flowers planted throughout the park on the occasion of Tulip Mania, it's a shame that it's still a little early and so many have yet to bloom, it would probably be best to wait a few weeks to be able to admire the garden in all its splendor. Water lilies, roses and turtles are also missing for the moment. However, it is always pleasant to walk in the greenery, taking a few minutes to visit the farm and the deer valley. The park can be visited on foot in about 5/6 hours. It is possible to rent a golf cart (20€/h) or an electric bike (6.50€/h), as well as take a 45-minute ride on the train (5€) or a one-hour guided tour on a shuttle ( €7). Toilets and drinking fountains are well distributed, while the opening of the bars depends a lot on the turnout.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 8, 2024
- Davide BCaserta, Italy542 contributionsSpring showA beautiful park. I recommend visiting during the spring period to fully appreciate the wonderful variety of flowers, colors and scents. There is also the possibility of bringing some food and perhaps having a picnic on the large green lawn. There are many attractions and it is possible to visit them both by bike and on board of friendly golf carts equipped with a tourist guide. I recommend taking a tour with the train, here too there is a tourist guide who tells the history of the park.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 25, 2024
- Maria B3 contributionsPark experienceReally very beautiful place... only drawback: I showed up at the cash desk with a disability card (European Disability Card) which was not taken into consideration... I presented the commission report which recognized partial blindness and I was told that they are a private park so only the discount for those over 65 was applied. But why does it say on their website that entry is free for disabled people?!?Gentilissima, ci fa piacere abbia apprezzato la bellezza del Parco, tuttavia per il discorso ospiti con disabilità sul sito ufficiale del Giardino è indicata nella sezione che la gratuità viene applicata ai visitatori disabili al 100 % mostrando alla biglietteria la certificazione. https://www.sigurta.it/ospiti-con-disabilita Grazie dell'attenzione e speriamo di accoglierla nuovamente al Parco Giardino Sigurtà.Written April 8, 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 5, 2024
- SONIA TBrescia, Italy7 contributionsDay surrounded by natureThe park is very beautiful, in this period with the tulips in bloom it is spectacular. It is large and there are many areas to visit, from the lakes, to the farm with animals, to the labyrinth, the hermitage, the castle, the large green expanses and much more. You spend the day pleasantly surrounded by nature. The positive thing is certainly the possibility of bringing your own food, there are many areas with tables but there is also the possibility of lying on the lawns. I found it interesting that the history was on the map of the park, it helps to better understand what you are seeing. The only aspect that could be improved is how to move around the park. The fact that you can bring your own bicycles is certainly positive, but not everyone lives in the area or has a car equipped to take them. Going around the entire park on foot, depending on age and company, certainly doable. The cost of hourly rentals is very high if you want to tour the entire park. It would be better to have packages for a certain number of hours or the whole day. Or a vehicle that runs around the park and that you can take to get around when you're too tired, at a certain price, or by purchasing a certain number of tokens. - sc0llenBallabio, Italy341 contributionsNothing specialThis is not the first time I have visited the park and I have always been very satisfied. This time, however, the tulip blooms were in a pitiful condition. I know it's not their fault but unfortunately the weather but I would have liked it if we had been told about the inconvenience upon entry. - Roberta C1 contributionBeautiful dayVery suggestive park with very well kept and very extensive lawns, delightful lakes with lots of flowers, many routes we took on foot and interesting attractions, a nice labyrinth. Picnic advice. I would have liked the entry with the family option (there are five of us) but I also understand the management costs.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 30, 2024
- valerio sFoligno, Italy297 contributionsP.Sigurtà.....adviceRecommended in periods where flowering is in full splendor which makes it more enjoyable. Entrance ticket not so cheap but if you want to spend a whole day in contact with nature, it's worth it. I saw 3 refreshment points (bars also supplied with pizza and chips) but I recommend organizing a nice picnic, given that there is the possibility. Animals are not allowed. Cars (those from the golf courses, for example) can be rented at €20 per hour but I recommend taking a nice panoramic tour with the internal train at €5 per person (duration 30-35 minutes) to better understand how it is made and how the 60 hectares of the park are organised....to then go and/or stop in your favorite place.Visited April 2024Traveled with friendsWritten May 2, 2024
- Daniele DallariReggio Emilia, Italy2,444 contributionsWelcome to “The Sigurtà Experience”12 MAY 2024 11am, arrival at the park. Parking is free. The cost of tickets varies from €10 for children to €18 for adults... with the possibility of posters and discount codes. Animals are not allowed. Get ready and go! Now here's some bad news! Unfortunately the time of tulips is already over. Patience, let's go hunting for water lilies, that pond is for me! Here's a white one... it's fabulous! A second white and pink water lily is also on the way... great job Johnny! A few more steps and I have the sensation that it is warmer at this point... actually there is a banana grove in front of my eyes... now I understand. I go down... on the horizon the Deer Valley and then the Farm with donkeys, sheep and goats. After breathing even better air in the Medicinal Herb Garden we enter the Labyrinth to take some more photographs. The walk continues… In front of me a long rose garden... what song comes to mind in your opinion? La vie en rose… obviously! A little further on Viale dei Tramonti… I have the feeling that this walk is about to end… It was a very pleasant day, too bad we didn't rent the golf car... one more reason to go back.Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 17, 2024
- Giorgio TCrema, Italy804 contributionsComing back is always a pleasureI had visited the park as a child in the spring of 2005 and in the autumn of 2011, and I had fond memories of it. Going back was a great emotion, and seeing it still looked after and full of corners to explore took me back to some beautiful childhood experiences. I will happily return, especially for the autumn colors!Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 1, 2024

I have been to this park twice, both in 2021 around September 7, I was so impressed that I returned in March 2024 in the period of Tulipanomania. It was a beautiful day, I was fascinated by the enchanting and vast presence of thousands of tulips. Beautiful all colorful. The park is so big that you spend a whole day inside, we were from 12 until closing around 6 pm. We brought our packed lunches and ate on that stretch of sunken lawn. Also at the entrance they give you a map to go around the park, it is possible to do it on foot or with bikes to rent or there own, all required at the entrance. Also inside the park there are bars and refreshments. All very nice for young and old. Maybe if I had to find a flaw, I would improve the part where the animals are present, the farm. But otherwise all very nice. You can also ride every hour on the train throughout the park lasting 35/40 minutes with the audio guide.

Beautiful park, an immense green carpet with flowers, very well looked after. I recommend renting an electric car to get around it (for example, like the ones used on golf courses), the cost is €20 per hour and consider a couple of hours if you want to take a few quiet stops. A special note to the splendid Avenue of Roses. Parking is free within 200 meters

Wonderful trip to this wonderful park. Even though it was August, we didn't find any crowds. As soon as you arrive I recommend a ride on the train which allows you to get an idea of what you can find. It leaves every thirty minutes, lasts 35 minutes and costs 4 euros. The park can be easily visited on foot in half a day.

What can I say...still a nice day, spent in the midst of nature and surrounded by greenery, nothing to say about that. But, let's start with the buts:
1) ticket for €18 (€16 if you buy it on getyourguide), excessively high cost for the services it DOES NOT offer. In addition to the expanses of greenery and trees, nothing more... few animals (of course to be expected, otherwise I would have gone to a zoo) but still only expanses and trees.
2) I went in April which should be the height of the tulips in bloom, but instead I found them withered (not all) and only a few... from the advertising they make of them I imagined entire expanses of tulips or particular flowers or roses (non-existent in the period in which I was there)
3) the pedestrian route was the same as that of trains, golf carts and bicycles, so you had to do the route on foot, always being very careful not to find yourself under any passing vehicle
4) long queues everywhere, at the bathroom, at the fountains, at the refreshment points (very few for such a large park).
5) non-existent medical plants, there were only signs with the explanation, but most of the plants were absent and/or poorly cared for.
The only most suggestive "attraction" was the labyrinth, but in any case, from the advertising that was made of it, I expected much, much more, especially to travel 150km (if you start from the province of Venice like me) plus pay €18 ticket to see grassy expanses and trees, and poorly cared for flowers, is absolutely not worth it.

Buongiorno,
Cordiali saluti.

The park is wonderful, no doubt about it, the best time is early April to fully enjoy the blooms. I was there in mid-April and many parts had already faded.
I recommend going on weekdays, we went on a Saturday and therefore the turnout was very high. I didn't like the large presence of electric cars which force you to pay constant attention to small children as they are often in the hands of children who are not always well behaved.
I also recommend bringing a packed lunch, the various bars scattered around the park are crowded, expensive and serve poor food.

Cordiali saluti.

Aware that the Response to my review will be the same as most disliked reviews or that a "my fault" is never taken into account by the park management, but is almost always poured to boomerang on customers I write anyway....!
Absolutely negative experience regarding the rental of karts and bicycles.
After spending 120 euros of admission and 115 rental when returning the vehicles I point out that a pedal of my bicycle halfway through the journey broke and that the delay in the delivery of all the vehicles (1 kart and 4 bicycles) was due to the fact that the group had slowed down to wait for me (difficult to pedal with one leg).
My "symbolic" request was a discount of 5 euros for the inconvenience for what happened, but unfortunately DENIED both by the operator at the checkout and when he reported my request to his manager!
Since this service is provided (not exactly free) you must also be guarantor of the proper functioning of the means you give to your customers.
If there was a breakage of the bicycle, in this case a pedal was loosened certainly not due to customer negligence a minimum of "kindness" to customers I think is a must.
It is true that you have a unique park that hosts thousands of fans every year, but this does not justify treating customers with superiority and arrogance!

Today we were at the Park with 11 elderly people from a retirement home, 100% disabled. It was not possible to park the disabled van inside the park and we were forced to let guests off the road (not even in front of the ticket office, safely). It was a great inconvenience for the elderly, some of whom were sick, the oldest being 96 years old, and most of them with impaired walking. We kindly asked to be allowed in just to let the elderly people off and then park outside the park, but we were strictly denied. We received no help from any of the staff at the entrance. I would like to point out that the agreements made in the phone calls and emails were different, in fact they had guaranteed us the possibility of parking inside, 150 meters from the departure of the panoramic train. The car park intended for groups, at the end of the park, is much further away and the elderly would never have been able to get to the train. Only at the end of the morning did some employees understand the difficulty and decided to meet our needs but as the structure's educator and main organizer I found the situation truly shocking. We tried to organize the outing as best as possible to cause as little inconvenience as possible to the elderly, planning everything in detail. Despite this, the inconvenience caused was enormous. We will proceed with a complaint from our management.

Buongiorno,

Nothing sensational, perhaps also because there were still few flowers. Regardless of the flowers I still didn't like it. Organised, in my opinion, not well. The largest restaurant offers at most a few cheap but expensive sandwiches. Approximate if not non-existent cleaning of the tables. There are no signs/descriptions along the routes. Continuous risk of being run over by bicycles and minicars. Highly disappointing for the price it has. I wouldn't go back and I don't recommend it.

Buongiorno,
Grazie dell'attenzione e porgiamo cordiali saluti.

Gentilissima,
Speriamo possa cambiare idea e tornare a trovarci.
Cordiali saluti.

A very, very beautiful park, hilly with lots of different botany. Shady ponds, old trees. We had our bikes with us and were very happy that we could ride through the park.
Unfortunately, the famous rose avenue with a view of the towers is very busy (bad for photos)
Otherwise, the park was well attended for a Sunday, the visitors are spread out inconspicuously across the area.
Bringing a picnic with you is recommended.
We were disappointed by the sundial. It stands in a pond and is very unkempt/full of algae and moss. Reading the numbers and reading explanations was difficult or even impossible.
The entrance fee is €18 per person, which is a lot, but there is also a lot to look after. The lawn is like a springy carpet.
The golf carts cost €20 and the bikes €6.50 for an hour. If you stay for
at least three hours, it adds up. I think the cost of getting around is too expensive, hence the 4 stars.
There are plenty of toilets and water taps to fill up your own bottles.
We would visit the park again.

A presto!

Buona visita
