Beautiful small village

A small magical village. We arrived in the afternoon and walked through the small alleys, took the small train to Valeggio Sul Mincio. A few restaurants and cafes

This wonderfull place is hidden beside hills in the Mincio river valley. Only 8 km from peschiera del Garda along the Mincio river. You could arrive by car or bike.

I understand why this is listed as an attraction of Valeggio but it is a separate village where you can spend the night. The town of Valeggio is about a 20 minute walk away and in my opinion not particularly attractive. Borghetto where we spent three days is delightful and after the tour buses leave peaceful and relaxing. After dinner... More

If you're visiting Lake Garda, don't miss out on this wonderful little village which is not too far away from the Southern side of the lake. It's not large, but you'll enjoy sights of the nearby castle, bridge and ruins. It's a romantic and friendly place to visit.

Borghetto is a small picturesque village on the river Mincio. The remains of several waterwheels are still visible, although not working, still lovely to see. There are several good restaurants and cafes here and it's lovely to wander the narrow streets and gaze at the castle and bridge.

The borghetto is a tiny picturesque village about three to four streets contained within the remains of an ancient wall in the middle of white wine land. A river flows through the village that used to hold mills. A little steep walk from the village is an ancient castle with a beautiful 360 degree panorama of the place. If you're... More

Five minutes walk from our B&B. It was a tourist honeypot but with good reason. Very picturesque and with lovely restaurants and gelaterie. A charming old town on the river.

This is a very pretty village with many old buildings. The river runs through it with some old water mill wheels still evident although not now used for their original purpose, but just as decoration. There is a castle ruin on the hill overlooking the valley, but you need to be fit as there are a lot of steps to... More

Very nice small village to walk by, it's mainly 2-3 streets by the river. It's a nice walk, maybe dine in one of the restaurants and... That's it... Wouldn't come here especially for the village but it can be combined with another activity as Parco Sigurta.

Shortly, it is worthy to visit. Very nice cafes and restaurant around narrow streets. Borghetto, a frazione with the Ponte Visconteo ("Visconti Bridge"), a fortified dam built in 1393 by Gian Galeazzo Visconti, Duke of Milan. The bridge is 650 m long
