If you are at Cape Schanck, it is a must to go down and up the steps for the pebble beach and the Pulpit Rock. We took some fantastic photos on our way down and then on the way up. Superb Views. Cheers

It’s an easy hike from the carpark, just a lot of stairs. Views are nice and air smelled so fresh. Saw some people fishing in the area as well.

This beautiful location is on our doorstep. When the tide is out you can walk along the rocks for great photo locations. Be very cautious though..... as the tide and weather can change so quickly and you can be easily swept off the rocks if you are not vigilant. Pulpit rock is quite magnificent. Around the corner is a protected area of beach where you can safely swim. But as always, be aware of your surroundings and conscious of the weather. Enjoy your visit…

My wife and I visited this place in conjunction with a visit to the Cape Schanck lighthouse. The long walk on the boardwalk is worth the hike to enjoy the scenic views and fresh air.

I took the walk to the lighthouse, down the boardwalk to Pulpit Rock and back up - it's a circuit and not to be missed. It is a hike uphill on the way back, but really special. You can take your time, but not for the immobile.
