So close to Mumbai yet not very known lies the Tadoba National Park, thick bamboo forest. A small area of 625.4 sq.km. The national park boasts of the tigers, bysons, bears, deer, sambar and variety of species of birds. Just a three hours drive from Nagpur. Tadoba National Park is indeed a photographers delight, very well maintained. This is what... More

Tadoba Andheri Tiger reserve is just 200 kms from Nagpur, with abundant wild life and almost 100% sure to spot tiger/s during the safari in summer. For those interested in bird watching, it is perhaps one of the best sancturies. And added attraction is of watching crocodiles resting on the bank of the main Tadoba lake. But one must do... More

If you have had really rotten luck in the past in sighting tigers in the other game reserves, try a soothsayer. Alternatively go to Tadoba. It might just change your luck. We were lucky as we saw tigers in each of the 3 safaris we went for in a span of 2 days. It is a different matter that it... More

An excellent place to view tigers in the wild. We saw 8 different individuals with multiple sightings over 11 game drives. It's also an excellent place to see sloth bear and wild dog. If you are lucky - which we were - leopards can also be spotted.

It was amazing driving through the reserve from Moharli gate. Spotted three tigers on the very first game drive on the canter bus! Sooo and now I really gotta say this: going on a private safari by jipsy costs 3300 INR per vehicle for Indian citiziens. However for foreign nationals the same thing costs 10'000 INR. I just find this... More

THe reserve provides excellent tiger sightings on every day despite thick bamboo forests which limit viewing opportunities. It is not the most beautiful reserve but with a good supply of game and consequent tiger population we were privileged to see 11 different tigers across our 15 game drives which is more than any of my previous 5 visits to India... Very well kept and well managed tiger reserve. Had a great time going for those well managed safaris . Government is doing a commendable job in maintaining what's left after exploitation ober years.
