池の鯉のエサの食いっぷりが笑える

かなり立派な神社に隣接してある公園です。ありがちな公園ではあるのですが、エサやりができる池の鯉のエサの強請りっぷりがすごく、笑えます。

　猿賀神社とつながっている猿賀公園は大きな池を中心に桜の木がたくさんあるので地元の人の散歩コースとしては大変良いと思います。ただ，観光の人にとっては少し道がわかりづらいかなというのがあります。地図などを参考にがんばってみてほしいと思います。私は少しがんばりました。どこで曲がるかがわかりづらいです。目立つ看板もありません。う～ん。コメントしづらいです。

一の宮かと思うくらい立派

広く森がきれいです。本当に一の宮級の社殿と境内です。
残念ながら御朱印帳はオリジナルの物ではありません。
御朱印はいただけます。
猿の文字が入っていますが、御祭神は猿田彦ではありません。

駐車場について

イベントの無い平日は、人影もまばらなので、正面の鳥居から参道へ入って入り口付近の空きスペースに停められます。年始や大祭、蓮のシーズンなどは来客が多く、出店も並ぶので指定駐車場を利用します。駐車場は、鳥居を入らず、弘前側から来た場合は、そのまま通り越して少し行くと左折の案内が出ています。公園の横と真裏の２箇所あります。

春は桜

平川市の尾上地区にある公園です。公園内には猿賀神社や温泉施設などもあります。春は桜が美しく、花見客で混雑していました。

桜の名所です。
秋にはハスが見事です。
ハス羊羹もあります。
池に大きな鯉がいます。
鯉のエサはすぐに売り切れがち。

池がきれいな日本庭園風の公園

猿賀神社に隣接している公園で、中央に池があり、それを囲むように植栽や散策路が整備されています。池のハスが綺麗とのことでしたが、6月下旬だったので、花の時期には早かったようです。敷地内に「さるか荘」という温泉施設や足湯がありました。また、「盛美園」や「四季の蔵・もてなしロマン館」へは散策路が通じています。
