After visiting the Castle (or the Akropolis) this tiny museum is worth a complementary visit to understand more about the history of Saguntum. There are a few archeological items, that are worth to watch.

The museum was a nice experience, after an exhausting tour of the castle above. With everything visited in Sagunto, a clearer picture of the town appears in front of a visitor. It would be extremely helpful if museums would regularly be including at least english...More

Food average, service good, very very busy lots of people eating there mainly in groups visiting. I had Paella which I love but it was mediocre but the price was cheap and included 1/2 bottle wine, bread and alioli , salad, all for 10 euros.

Small but interesting collection of Roman artifacts. Free admission, and a cool respite to spend a pleasant half hour. Efficient and friendly staff.

This is a very small museum but worth a short visit. They have a brochure in English explaining about the roman theater, the forum and the castle. It is a nice museum in the old (renovated) exchange market. Well worth a brief visit.

This small museum shows various rests found at the Castle. Unfortunately the various destructions that hit the castle didn't allow us to understand the richness which was represented in that place. However the museum shows some interesting pieces and "walls" that gives you some valuable...More

The museum is free and has some wonderful examples of Greek, Roman and Moorish structures/columns/friezes etc. Also some miniature bronze figurines dating back more than 2000 years. Ancient fish hooks, nails, house utensils made out of bones and clay pieces which show life in a...More
