Great castle and really cheap compared to the UK prices. Very good exhibition to go round and friendly staff.

We really wanted to go to the castle because my family is from Navarra and have a lot of Francisco Javier’s in the family. Is a very nice restore castle and if you are catholic is a very symbolic place. The tour was very interesting.

This castle was built in 14th century so very few of the original walls are standing. It was redone in 2005 copying what it should have looked like at the time. They did a pretty good job . Inside it has some works of art...More

We drove here after seeing it recommended in a guide book. Simple enough to find (albeit after driving on a windy and steep road), with plenty of free parking. The castle is impressively preserved, and was interesting to walk round. There's also an attached church,...More

This monastery/castle contains many religious artefacts and has been well laid out so that you can follow the history of the place. I personally felt it was a bit over preserved and it did not rank in the same league as Veruela or de Piedra...More

The castle looks good from a distance but up closer it is a bit disappointing as it has been renovated a bit "Disney" style, but it is certainly worth a visit. The main claim to fame of the area is the birth place of Francis...More
