Very good prices for a place like this. We didn’t take the wine tasting tour. Very decent prices which starts from €19 pp incl 3 glasses and takes about 1,5hrs. Instead of the tour, we enjoyed for a drink at the hotel bar and the building architecture, following a wine tasting ourselves at the cafetaria bar with tapas.

Tip: ask at information desk for acces/table availability at the hotel bar.

Yes, any one could preview the video being shown at the premise prior to the actual visit. But, seeing is believing, and one should see the architecture of the adjoining hotel in person, to appreciate Mr. Gehry's design and final outcome. Nevertheless, the winery's general well-run conditions have much to be commended, especially considering the tremendous output of wine. The shop is also a nice one for any wine afficionado or the casual tourist. Visiting this winery is one sure thing not to miss.

We have been lucky enough to have your many wineries and vineyards over the years and we would say that in terms of understanding the wine making process this was one of the best.

Our female guide (who’s name I sadly can’t remember) was excellent - spoke great English and was very knowledgable.

The tour lasts 90mins and you get to tour the vineyards as well as several of the winery buildings most of which are still is use today.

The tour ends with time in the tasting room where you are able to taste 3 of their wines (Verdejo, Crianza & Reserva) which they serve with some cold meats and biscuits.

Our tour was included as part of our stay at the Marques de Riscal but we would have been very happy if we had paid for it.

We stopped by and we were having some food some days ago there, and the food is very good with a very reasonable price (especially in the cafeteria).

We met Txisco, the chef of the place, and he was an extremely kind person and the reason why I am writing this review. He took us to the grove and showed us the different varieties of tomatoes. A very valuable asset for the hotel and an unforgetable experience.

We came here for an afternoon wine tasting and tour and were pleased with the experience. Our guide is obviously a fan of Marques de Riscal and her passion about the property and the wine was palatable. It was great to learn more about the history of the vineyard and see how they tackle wine making at this particular property. The only thing I do wish is at the end to be able to taste a few more different types of their wines (we only tasted two).

We went there by 9.30 four wine lovers, wanting to taste, buy and check the hotel for our next stay. Here what happened : none at the reception, or in the shop which is strange but could be a simple miscommunication about opening times, which we saw as from 9am. No problem. But the security guy takes control: you can't access the hotel, unless you have a reservation! Hmm, fine. We park the car in the empty car park. No, you can't park there that is for buses , park ten meters further! Hmm, OK. Since still none at the shop we want to walk around discover the place until we wait. No, you can't walk over there! Really? We are supposed to sit outside waiting for the staff to show up. When? He does not know. Well, when rules are more important than your clients, think hard if it is worth putting money in your wonderful facilities or rather train your staff? We loved Marqués de Riscal before visiting, but now the experience turns even the wine sour. A shame on such a brand!

We visited this vineyard as part of a P&O shore excursion. We visited the vines and various buildings associated with wine production. Following our tour we did a wine tasting - 2 reds and a white. The wines were accompanied by cold meats and breadsticks. We were then able to go in to the beautifully presented shop and buy wine. NB you are allowed to take photos on the visit but not videos. You also get to see the Frank Gehry designed hotel on the site which is stunning.

We took the guided tour of the Bodega with wine tasting afterwards and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our guide was very good and showed us the vineyards and the installations needed to produce this wine from La Rioja. The tour lasted 90 minutes and leves you in the shop so you can buy the wines you have tasted!

I feel the photos of the hotel are a pull to get people to visit this Bodega. This is misleading, when in actual fact, you don’t get to see the Hotel at all!
The English tour was not available for the 3 days we were in the area even though I tried to book 2 weeks in advance.
I was expecting the hotel to be on its own, but the reality is that it is in the middle of town which in my opinion is an eyesore.
There is no doubt that the architecture is genius, but it would be great in the right context and allow the general public to appreciate it. Gaudi does so why not this?
End of rant!

Nice tour. They export to US so didn’t but anything at the bodega. Very disappointed they do not provide taxi or any kind of transportation for non-hotel guests so you must arrange return transportation in advance. Hotel staff rather unfriendly toward bodega guests.
