We specialise in private, custom wine tours in Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero in Northern Italy to introduce you not only to the spectacular wines of Piemonte but also the cuisine, culture and history of this beautiful but often neglected part of Italy. Not an obvious choice of destination as little English is spoken but this means fewer tourists and probably cheaper than Toscana (Tuscany). We are expert providers of “local knowledge “and provide an English speaking service to ensure that you never waste a moment of your precious leisure time.

Forget all your preconceived notions of a wine tour - calling this a wine tour is underselling how truly amazing of an experience that it is. We just left Neive after two days with Robert and Leslie (and Cotta) and are already daydreaming about our next trip. Robert took us through the various towns that make up Barolo on day... More

I found this wine tour when researching the Piedmont area and booked it with Robert & Leslie. We stayed in Alba and Robert picked us up there. He had mapped the day around where we were and what we needed to see in the area and we saw so many places! It was exactly what we wanted, we learnt a... More

Great day but different that other wine tours we'd been on. Robert extremely knowledgeable and led a great day but we didn't speak to any wine makers or "get into" the vineyards. Lots of wine to taste, starting at 10:30 AM. Leslie made a wonderful lunch. We took to train from Turin to Asti - very easy and Robert picked... More

We were staying in Turin & so Robert met us off the train at Asti just after 9am & dropped us off at the station for our 6pm return train. Between the 2 trains we saw pretty well all of Barolo, La Morra & Barbaresco. We love looking at countryside and this was a really great trip, where we learned... More

We'd booked the Spumante tour and Robert easily adapted the day as I'm hoping to move to the Piedmont in the future. So as well as sampling some wonderful wines, we were treated to seeing many small towns and villages. Novello was amazing and the Nascetto was incredible especially with the story of how it was rediscovered. Leslie provided a... More

This is the ultimate fantasy wine experience. Robert and Leslie are engaging, fun, and experts in wine and food. Leslie is a fantastic chef. Both share their expertise in wine and food. Robert picked us up at our B&B Guiseppe Cortese (see separate review for this wonderful B&B) in Barbaresco. At the end of the day, we learned a lot... More

We booked our tour in early April I was constantly emailing Leslie with a lot of questions about the area. She always took the time to respond to my many questions. On the day of the tour we got lost. We were extremely late. I had to have the police call her up. We were very forunate that Robert waited... More

Robert and Leslie are the best!! My wife and I spent three wonderful days touring wineries with them and learning about the Langhe region of northern Italy. Not only were they warm friendly people, their knowledge and experience with the wines (they are both Soms) was spectacular. If it relates to wine, they know about it. The Langhe has beautiful... We loved our day with Robert and Leslie touring through the Piedmont countryside. Robert picked us up at Borgo Vecchio in Neive at 9:30 and our first stop was at Pasquale Pelissero. Robert's wife, Leslie, works here and they're very close with the winemaker, Ornella, who we had the pleasure of meeting after we tasted many of her lovely wines... More

We did a one-day, two-winery tour. Truly, this was one of those special days, well worth the price. Even those in our party who aren't big fans of red wine still appreciated the customized attention, the personal touch, the views, the food, and of course, the amazing wine. We left feeling like part of the community there, like family.
