We specialise in private, custom wine tours in Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero in Northern Italy to introduce you not only to the spectacular wines of Piemonte but also the cuisine, culture and history of this beautiful but often neglected part of Italy. Not an obvious choice of destination as little English is spoken but this means fewer tourists and probably cheaper than Toscana (Tuscany). We are expert providers of “local knowledge “and provide an English speaking service to ensure that you never waste a moment of your precious leisure time.

This is the ultimate fantasy wine experience. Robert and Leslie are engaging, fun, and experts in wine and food. Leslie is a fantastic chef. Both share their expertise in wine and food. Robert picked us up at our B&B Guiseppe Cortese (see separate review for this wonderful B&B) in Barbaresco. At the end of the day, we learned a lot... More

We booked our tour in early April I was constantly emailing Leslie with a lot of questions about the area. She always took the time to respond to my many questions. On the day of the tour we got lost. We were extremely late. I had to have the police call her up. We were very forunate that Robert waited... More

Robert and Leslie are the best!! My wife and I spent three wonderful days touring wineries with them and learning about the Langhe region of northern Italy. Not only were they warm friendly people, their knowledge and experience with the wines (they are both Soms) was spectacular. If it relates to wine, they know about it. The Langhe has beautiful... We loved our day with Robert and Leslie touring through the Piedmont countryside. Robert picked us up at Borgo Vecchio in Neive at 9:30 and our first stop was at Pasquale Pelissero. Robert's wife, Leslie, works here and they're very close with the winemaker, Ornella, who we had the pleasure of meeting after we tasted many of her lovely wines... More

We did a one-day, two-winery tour. Truly, this was one of those special days, well worth the price. Even those in our party who aren't big fans of red wine still appreciated the customized attention, the personal touch, the views, the food, and of course, the amazing wine. We left feeling like part of the community there, like family.

Our experience with Robert & Leslie was like none other, and we had just traveled through France and toured Chablis & Beaune with other wine tour guides. Robert's expertise in the Piedmont region cannot be matched, and both he and Leslie are very gracious in providing the type of experience we were searching for. We stayed in Neive per their... More

Out of a whole month of great experiences, the two days we booked with Robert and Leslie were TOPS! They were so "in the know" with the locals, the restaurants and the wine makers. Loved our wine tours, the cooking class with Leslie and the photography class with Robert. Book these guys today if you can get lucky enough to... More

We are two traveling couples who spent the last day of May with Robert getting oriented to the Lange Region and wine culture. Robert picked us up at 9:30 at the farmhouse we were staying in for the week, and we set off for a gorgeous day in Barolo, Monteforte, Barbaresco, and Neive. We let Robert know that we were... More

So, I have to say that I loved this tour. I'm a naturally curious person so I ask a LOT of questions. We went as a couple and booked a 3 day tour. Every morning Rob would pick us up in his brand new and completely clean car -my fiance is allergic to dogs- and the tour would start. First... More

Robert and Leslie generously shared their knowledge of the Piedmont region. We learned about the history of the area, the wine making/blending process and many interesting details about the business. They brought us from the train station directly to our wine tour of 3 vineyards. We were welcomed at each stop with the warmth of good friendship that they shared... More
