We specialise in private, custom wine tours in Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero in Northern Italy to introduce you not only to the spectacular wines of Piemonte but also the cuisine, culture and history of this beautiful but often neglected part of Italy. Not an obvious choice of destination as little English is spoken but this means fewer tourists and probably cheaper than Toscana (Tuscany). We are expert providers of “local knowledge “and provide an English speaking service to ensure that you never waste a moment of your precious leisure time.

A great tour through several wineries with Robert and the most beautiful views of the vineyards and history of the area. Our eyes were opened to wine selection, the interesting facts and laws that allow a wine to be called a specific name - such as Barolo or Barbaresco. We ended with a fabulous lunch of local recipes that Leslie... More

My husband and I went thinking we would taste a lot of wine and see beautiful landscapes. We never expected to get all of that with great companions who were very knowledgeable and eager to share what they knew with us. We met their friends and learned a lot of history about the Piedmont region and a lot about wine... More

Robert and Leslie know Langhe and they know wine. Wonderful tour that included tastings with local producers. If you haven't visited before, ask their advice regarding local restaurants and other wines to try. Their knowledge of the region is immense, and they will point you in the right direction.

the 3 days tour was lovely and friendly, we were flushed with wine and passion from winery owners, Leslie, Robert and the doggie. Wine from Franco Rocca are fabulous, I just hate that I didn't bring enough home. Alberto Voerzio, another winery owner, was young and passionate and personally hosted our lunch. Other wineries have some good wine. We ended... More

My partner and I spent 2 days with Robert in early September - perfect time of the year, as the weather was superb and the vines were ready for harvest, so very lush! Day one was spent concentrating on the Barbaresco region of the Langhe and involved : *LOTS of information from Robert, (there is no doubting his excellent knowledge... More

Spending three days with Robert and Leslie (let's not forget Cotta, the family dog) was like spending time with a couple of close foodie and wine loving friends. Their knowledge of, expertise of, and passion for the area are fantastic. It was so nice watching Robert and Leslie with the locals. It is clear they have many close friends, and... More

I arranged a spot on the wine tour with Robert and Leslie well in advance of departing on my trip to Italy. I stayed in Torino and was concerned about the practicality of a day tour in Piemonte, but it turned out not to be a problem at all. Leslie helped me with the train schedule from Torino Porta Nuova... More

Forget all your preconceived notions of a wine tour - calling this a wine tour is underselling how truly amazing of an experience that it is. We just left Neive after two days with Robert and Leslie (and Cotta) and are already daydreaming about our next trip. Robert took us through the various towns that make up Barolo on day... More

I found this wine tour when researching the Piedmont area and booked it with Robert & Leslie. We stayed in Alba and Robert picked us up there. He had mapped the day around where we were and what we needed to see in the area and we saw so many places! It was exactly what we wanted, we learnt a... More
