Absolutely amazing beach !! Clear water, white sand, so what also you need from a terrific place like that ??!! ( On high session, there is a fee of 10 R$ for who enters with car, and beside that, there is also a limit of parking lots, so you should come pretty early )

..a lonely (in the off season), windy, expanse of soft white sand, Suoeste is a piece of paradise. We have seen turtles, golfinhos or dolphins, penguins (unfortunately once we found a dead one covered with black oil), and of course, crabs and different birds. At the very end towards Pontal, the fishermen bring in the boats rolling them on tree... More

We walked from our hotel to this beach, crossing a Morro, which was a walk for 20 minutes from the harbour. The beach area is in a bay, very very nice and wonderful sea - a spot to visit while you are in Arraial. You can rent umbrellas and chairs there, as well as buy something to drink and eat.

It took us about 2.5 hrs to get there from Rio de Janeiro but it was all worth it every penny spent. The beach has that beautiful blue waters and we encountered NO people around, we enjoyed the whole afternoon and enjoyed some campirinhias at the only place open that day, we went thru the weekdays maybe that is why... It's the nicest beach in Arraial do Cabo. The only downside of all the beaches is the trash left by the people.

Dear all, This may be a strange request (and this is my first post here on tripadvisor) but I would greatly appreciate your help. I have just been in Arraial do Cabo as one of the last stops on a trip through Brazil. I can really recommend the sunset at Pontal do Atalia - it is very spectacular! When I... More

This is my favorite beach in Arrial Do Cabo. the white soft sands, the clear transparant blue water and the mountain view is just stunning. The water is cold thou, but as soon as you get off from the water and get exposed by the sun you would feel warm

It has great beaches and is more tranquil than Cabo Frio it´s neibourgh town. Prainha is a good place to be with nice kiosks offering fresh sea food at reasonable prices.

This beach is always woted amongst top 10 beaches in Brazil. Apart from the mountain road being poor for cars the last 500 m, it is a clear MUST Stunningly beautiful
