This morning after packing up 2 car loads of family from three countries we headed to Tayto castle and were greeted by the wonderful Bob. We took the 10-30 am tour as we waited for Mr Tayto to make his appearance. When he did we were all very excited and delighted to be able to get photo with the man himself! The tour took about 90 minutes and it was very interesting and engaging going around the actual working factory. We often got in the... More

Tayto factory is in Tandragee and you need to book your tour for a specific time. There is no visitor parking on site so you have to park in the village and entrance to the castle is through a locked door in the corner of the square. It is worth visiting if you like Tayto crisps and want to see... More

the Tayto tour is a fun way to see a working factory in action. Laura our guid brought the whole process to life and fed us along the way with dish loads of crisps. Every flavour you could think of was on offer as well as some specially made for other suppliers. Mr Tayto was of course the highlight of... More

Think we struck it lucky! Our tour guide Jill was excellent. Witty, informative and very generous. We enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to anyone. Who knew the humble potato was so exciting! Don't worry about the 'lovely' protective clothing.... Everyone looks daft! You're not alone. The more you put into your tour, the more you get out.... Spent a great day touring the Tayto Factory in Tandragee. Our tour guide Jill was extremely knowledgable and interacted with the group extremely well engaging both young and old in the experience. She had a great sense of humour and really added a lot of fun to the experience. The tour was very in-depth and gave you a real sense... More

We went as a church day out. Our group had different levels of mobility, hearing and sight; Lynore our tour guide was fantastic. Everyone had a great time learning about Tayto and taste testing. Having free packs to go home with too.

Long time spent getting ready to go into the factory - rules, hats, aprons, belongings, tape over rings, masks over beards etc. The tour takes an hour approx- it was ok, not great, not terrible. 6 bags of crisps each at the end.
