Mornington Peninsula has always been my favourite spot for a weekend away from the city. It can't get any better when the weather is nice. The main street is full of shops and cafes where you can find anything you feel like...a cup of coffee, a jewellery or a dress. It's a family friendly place. Many people fish here too.... More

Spent a lovely Christmas here staying in the Fabulous Hilltop cottage Lovely beaches both sides of the peninsula . On one side the calm bay of Port Phillip with nice sandy beaches and the rugged beauty of the Bass Strait on the other. Nice walks along and round both sides

It is always nice to visit Mornington Peninsula. You can do hiking, nice foods, nice towns there, relaxing beaches, fishing, etc. My fav spot is London Bridge, I visited there last week around 2pm and can get under the bridge, such a good feeling :) It made me appreciate nature even more.

This is a massive natural park, with a lot of variety in landscapes along the way. If you want natural bush, head to Green's Bush to the north of the park. There are plenty of amazing coastal cliffs and rock formations along the length of the park, including Bushranger's Bay, Boag's Rocks, Bridgewater Bay and Diamond Bay. Also a few... More

If you intend travelling to the Mornington Peninsula you will enjoy a dip in the hot springs pools at Fingal (back of Rye) - just follow the signs from McCrae along the Nepean Highway to Rye, then turn left at the turnoff along the bush road inland a little. The road is good so no worries there. They have about... More

We had heard about this cool spot called Bridgewater Bay at the end of St Woods Rd, where you will find teens rock jumping and kids snorkeling in rock pools. Its is a pretty popular spot with people so get in early or be prepared to walk a little from the not so big carpark. You are unable to jump... More

Bridgewater Bay rock pools, are well worth a visit, access via carpark at St Johns Wood Rd,Low tide is the time to go, take your snorkeling gear for added enjoyment, or simply drop into the various pools and cool off.The large pool at the left hand end of the bay is most popular with teenagers who test themselves by jumping... I live near the Mornington Peninsula and recently arranged a tour for a relative and his partner visiting from England. I booked a 6 hour tour with MP Experience. We went to the Botanic Rose Garden which the visitors had requested; Arthur's Seat for walks and amazing views of Port Phillip Bay and surrounds, followed by a relaxing picnic lunch... More

We got here before sunset and the view was phenomenal. There is a pathway leading us to the beach and it was full of beautiful big rocks.
