About
The Museo del Grande Torino e della Leggenda Granata is located in Via G.B. La Salle 87 at Grugliasco (TO) in the premises of the beautiful 17th century villa Claretta-Assandri where it can take advantage of about 650 square meters available so as to show our visitors many relics of the history of Torino from 1906 to today. Among these, we can enumerate the Balilla car belonged to Gigi Meroni, a part of the wooden grandstand of the stadium Filadelfia, the horn used by the "Trumpeter of Filadelfia" to boost the players of the Grande Torino, the cassette of the masseur still intact despite the tremendous impact as well as a wheel and a propeller of the aircraft of Superga. To give you an idea of the richness of our collection, there are displayed original objects from 1906 to date, as well as hundreds of personal belongings owned by the players. The tours are all guided by our volunteers who will narrate you the story of our club often related to the historical events of our country.

We visited with our two children 6 and 10. The staff were extremely helpful, some of us speak Italian some do not. We were given a guided tour in English and Italian by young man who was very knowledgeable and patient with the questions from two children. He picked out things which would be of interest to us and my son as an Arsenal fan. The museum is full of interesting artefacts, memorabilia and stories. We spent over an hour here and could have stayed much longer if time had allowed. This is by far the best football museum I have visited. A great experience.

The museum is located a bit outside of the city but it is worth every meter. It is located in a beautiful 18th century mansion, run by competent and super friendly volunteers. They call it a temporary solution since 10 years. Hopefully, this temporary solution stays for good. FC Torino is the Turin club of the heart, whose history is full of glamour and drama, in particular the crash of a plane with the whole team in 1949 near Superga basilica, when it was almost unbeatable and had won 5 league titles in a row. A must-see for every football afficionado. The heart of calcio is beating strong here.

We visited this museum as a prearranged group visit whilst visiting Torino FC. It was really interesting to hear about the start of Torino FC and all the history that surrounds it right up to the present day. The museum was very well layed out and displayed all the history and information very well.
Until we visited here I never knew there was so much history surrounding this club, and it was explained very well by our guide. All the work and people involved do it voulintarily which is a great thing and they are people who really care about this museum.
This is really worth a visit if you get the time.

We're happy that you enjoyed the visit and we hope we could meet again in the future! All the best,

I live in Santa Rita, a neighborhood of Turin just a few minutes from Grugliasco and I didn't know that in Villa Claretta there was this beautiful museum full of memories of the great Turin. It is possible to visit it with a reservation, the cost is 5 euros, free with a museum card. My Cicerone was Andrea, passionate and knowledgeable who made even me, an Inter fan, emotional. It is an experience that I highly recommend.

A month ago I finally managed to visit the museum of the great Turin.
As a life-long Granata (42 years old), I couldn't help but see it and I must say that my experience was more than positive.
The visit is led by volunteers who step by step explain the history of the team in every detail, from its foundation up to the present day.
Our guide was Mr Attilio, I wanted to personally congratulate him for the love he put into making our journey interesting and comprehensive from all points of view, even telling us anecdotes we didn't know.
The museum is well looked after, clean and equipped with many relics that are still well kept.
The place where it was set up is perfect, airy and well heated.
At the end of the exhibition (lasting 2 hours) you can purchase something from the museum's official merchandising.
Definitely an obligatory destination for all Granata fans
