Stumbled on to this place by accident. Not much publicity obviously. It is situated in a polygonal building near the SMC carpark. Initially thought there was nothing much except for a food court on the ground floor. There was a small sign near the stairs indicating an exhibition area on the 1st floor. Got up there and lo behold there... More

There is only one market selling sourveniour, but you can find a lot of stuff here. Kain batik, decoration, keychain, and many culture stuff in reasonable price. Just visit for half to 1hour, quite worth it. Thanks

This museum was definitely worth a visit. It has a really informative historical tour of the history of the area, with great photographs and artefacts. I felt like I knew far more about Borneo and the history of Malaysia post visiting the museum.

It's very near to central market. Small and concise museum. It has sections telling histories of people in Sarawak, Melanau Iban Hokkien people etc. The architectural building of the museum is pretty, but it's unfortunate they do not use it wholey.

This museum is a great introduction to this region. It has modern, well put together displays covering the colonial history, wartime and transition to independence plus the major ethnic groups in the region. Almost all the explanations are in English and Bahasa. It is well worth visiting.

Nice building but except for a small and congested traditional handicraft shop and a cafe, all other units are empty non occupied.

Sibu has a rich and interesting past and culture, if you interested in finding out more, then this is the place for you. It is presented in easy readable bite size bits as you stroll through the history that is Sibu. It is well worth the small amount of time to do the circular tour.
