Booked to see the current Dads Army film here during the 1940s weekend at the weekend. WOW.. its like stepping back in time. Well stocked refreshments counter in the foyer come photo gallery come museum. There are 2 screens. The larger screen had very spacious legroom inbetween rows, which if you are near 6ft is very welcome, and i love... More

I have lived in Lincolnshire all my life and have only recently started going to this lovely cinema. I never want to go inside a modern cinema again. The kinema in the woods has ambience, easy going viewing and oodles of charm.

This place is quaint and fun, a fab thing to see for all ages. It still has intermissions and is decorated as if you have stepped back in time to the 1940s except the movies are modern yay

Regularly use this cinema almost stepping back in time to when cinemas were small & had character. Here state of the art sound systems coexist with the old cinema organ that complete with organist, appears at the interval up from the organ pit at the front when the audience is entertained by tunes old & less old! Looking forward to... More

Called in today to watch a film and it is an experience to say the least. Such a historic cinema with lots of memorabilia.

This is the most amazing place. It was opened in 1922 and has been showing films ever since. It is a small hideaway in the woodland at the edge of Woodhall Spa, deep in the legend that is Bomber County. This is an experience and not just a trip to the cinema. From the very first step into the foyer... More

Fantastic cinema, a wonderful experience and great films. Only 2 screens so book online or get there early! Parking is tight but that's the fun of it! Period features and small museum of old projectors and the site. Sweets counter is a childhood favourite! Boxed midget gems. Staff always helpful and cannot wait to take our son 😊

The Kinema in the Woods is a step back in time and so atmospheric. It is such an enjoyable experience with an extensive range of treats to eat and drink during the intermission, together with entertainment by piano or organ. It beats modern cinemas hands down.

A lovely little cinema which is a fun night out. The films are modern of course but the cinema is old and just how it should be and used to be. They even pause part way through for an intermission when the organist rises up to play whilst you get your ice-cream! It is superb.
