I last came here to see Ghostbusters in the 80's.... brought my husband to see rogue one.... I don't reckon it's changed in that time. That's a good thing. It's like stepping into a different era. Love it. Prices are great. Even snack and drink prices (£4 for drink popcorn and sweets) and then the cinema itself. Lovely and toasty... More

Comfortable seating , coat hanging area, good choice of reasonably priced confectionary , no hefty car parking fees, tea and coffee instead of dustbin sized containers full of ice and coke. This is cinema as it should be ..and to put the icing on the cake an intermission .

We have been here many times and love it! Such a nice experience, welcoming staff, cheaper than other cinemas and they have an interval!

Travelled back in time to this incredible cinema that seems to be lost (intentionally) in the past. But a better past. The whole experience is all about a better time. Difficult to explain, you'd need to visit to understand. Took family to watch Rogue One over Christmas. Pre booked & paid online (half the price of Odeon), free parking &... More

It is like stepping back in time when you walk through the doors at the Kinema ... but in a good way! The staff are very welcoming, admission and refreshments very reasonably priced (unlike the main cinema chains) and the organist during the intermission (not every visit) a real treat. Hidden in the middle of the woods, the Kinema is... More

How authentic is this place. Straight out of the early 1920's, with piano and organ accompanient on occasions. Well worth a visit.
