About
No golfing ability? No problem! Topgolf is a game that anyone can play (and win). Score points by hitting micro-chipped golf balls at giant dartboard-like targets on an outfield. The closer you get your ball to the centre or ‘bullseye’ and the further the distance, the more points earned. The fun and games don’t stop there; you can even indulge in delicious food and drinks brought to you while you play. What could be better?

No idea why people are saying that you can’t book online - you can, you just need to pay for a Fastpath slot. We did, and could not have had a smoother, more enjoyable experience.
There was a huge queue when we turned up, which was to be expected at lunchtime in half term. However, the email I received when I booked told us to bypass the queue, which we did.
After the poor staff member on the door had finished being verbally abused by another group of people, we were greeted pleasantly and told what to expect. We were then immediately shown to a table and our food order was taken.
Our golf balls arrived and within ten minutes I received a text to say that our booth was ready. I notified a staff member who confirmed that our food order would be delivered to our booth. We were shown to our booth, began playing, and were enjoying our delicious food within another ten minutes.
The one-way system, the hand sanitiser everywhere and staff ensuring that everyone wore their face coverings when required meant that we felt safe at all times and had a lovely visit. Well done Topgolf, you’ve managed to do your best in a very difficult time and given a great service.

A fun evening with your friends. There’s a bar that serves nice and averagely priced food and drink. 1 game is £7 but you also have to pay for a membership which is £22 for a year or I think a couple of pounds for a month. It’s not a commitment if you pay for the month it’s just that month. The screens will tell you who’s winning and how many points each ball gets if you score. Be aware that you can end up waiting for 2 hours if you go at a busy time like an evening on the weekend!

Thank you very much for such a positive review of our facilities following your recent visit.
Just to let you know, our £22 saver membership that comes with four games is valid for life not just for one year!
Once these four games have been used, your membership remains valid for life.
We very much look forward to welcoming you and your friends back again soon.
Kind regards,
Team Surrey.

We had a team building here & it was an excellent choice. Many who were non-golfers had fun as it was beginner friendly. The food here was sub-par, the burger patties were so dry. There was a wide selection of beverages including cocktails but the quality was so so.

Could be improved by: 1. Quicker registration / reduced queues ( we waited for 85 minutes). 2.Move queues out of the rain.
3. Don't ask for so much personal data. 4. Cheaper prices. 5. Free booking in advance (the reservation alone is £35 per bay). 6. Drop the need to ' register each ball' (everybody's score in my party was messed up by this). 7. Advise people of busy times via website. 8. Allow more than 5mins to get to your bay if the ball queue is more than 5 mins long. 9. Less queues- I mean one to reserve a bay, one to register your party and get cards, one for the bar/restaurant, an online queue for your bay and (finally) a queue to bet your allocation of golf balls.
The game itself would have been good fun apart from above niggles, especially number 6. Each ball is registered to you, so it shows up on the screen with the relevant score against your name whether you registered it or not. But bizarrely it's not counted unless you'd remembered to drop it into a machine before each shot. We all remembered to do this between 70% and 90 % of the time but as a result all the scores were meaningless.

This was AWFUL service.
Told the wait for drinks was 20 mins. Food was 45. Food came with no drinks. We waited nearly an HOUR after our food arrived for a drink, after asking multiple people where they were. It was nearly impossible to eat our meal in 27 degree sunshine with no drink. We actually ordered another drink whilst we waited for the first, and this drink didn’t come before we had to leave our bay (after being chased twice!). We were only drinking coca cola!
It was far, far too hot to be withholding drinks from people in such hot conditions. When asked if we could just have some tap water, we were declined, and told our drinks wouldn’t be much longer.
I felt extremely uncomfortable, as did my partner, we couldn’t enjoy our golf or our food and both left dehydrated with headaches. This can’t actually be safe for your well-being in such heat!
Big waste of money, and our sunday afternoon, very disappointing. Employ more people to take the drinks to people or allow less guests to enter.
In 2 hours we barely were given 2 drinks of coca cola, had we not chased I don’t think they would’ve come at all.
We would’ve liked to have a refund as we could barely eat our food (which was £40+), but in all honesty we just wanted to GET OUT.
Awful, awful service.

Golf was fun, but beware of manager Nick. As he will make you wish you stayed home and played Wii golf instead. Yes, he’s that bad.
I first saw Nick shouting at a bunch of young sweet kids in the group next to us for throwing a club off the side, which they didn’t do (as we witnessed). Nick assuming it was them, as they were children.
My group was made up of my brother (17), his gf (17), me (24), and my partner (25). I bought myself a pint and was drinking this. I passed the end of my drink over to my brother so he could have a sip! Despite it being legal to have a drink when you are 16 in the UK, with an adult present, with food (he was eating); Nick came over and told my brother that he had to leave Top Golf, and said that it was their policy that you have to be 18 to drink. There were no signs clearly displaying this policy, and this action came with no warning at all from Nick. Not only were we kicked out immediately, before we got to start our second game. But now every person in my group is suspended from Top Golf for a year. Even though my partner and my brothers partner had nothing to do with the situation.
An extreme over reaction for my brother having a sip of my beer. At least we could have been given a warning and had the drink taken away from him at first?
Was such a shame, because we were having a nice day before Nick ruined it with his rudeness and extreme measures. Completely dampening the atmosphere of us and every customer we could see him interacting with.
Would recommend calling a head and making sure he’s not on shift before you book.

Despite booking to skip the queue, you then queue for 20 mins and then there is still no guarantee EVEN AFTER YOU PAY to get in.
Worst still it’s an hour for a drink you order yourself on an app while 6 bar staff pick their noses and look vacant.
So far nearly an hour …. No golf

Extremely disappointed - I have loved coming here previously, however we attended on Friday evening to be told there would be a multiple hour wait. It got to 10pm and we still were 17th in the queue, so went to reception and they said we would be very hopeful if we were to stay. So we left and travelled 45 minutes home. We then returned the next day to then have to wait 3 hours for a bay and by the time we were 12th in the queue, one of the employees came and explained that the venue would be shutting due to water issues. We had travelled an hour to get here to then just be told to go home. Complete waste of petrol and time. If you decide to come, either pay the ridiculous fee to book online or make sure you get there by early afternoon if you want to stand any chance of getting a bay. Will be seeking compensation for losing out on games and travel for then being sent home. So so disappointing.

Absolutely awful! The staff were extremely rude, and the company rip you off constantly. We came in and they immediately demanded that we find an adult to accompany us at all times or, as i quote, "get out!" The pure disrespect from the staff we encountered, purely because we were 6 months too young took us all completely by suprise because the completely inept company had little mention of this on their website. The whole thing felt like a massive scam, not only because of the ageist discrimination but also because of the complete and utter lack of clarity on their useless terms and conditions meant to make everyone's lives harder.
They had no mention on their website that the games on the memberships couldnt be transferred between people, and you cant just buy 1 game you have to buy a membership. They force you to pay extra for everything. So in summary, rude, disrespectful staff who think they are above everyone, overpriced scams and we never even got past the reception desk. We travelled expectedly for over an hour to get there with my only three friends, only to end up dossapointed driving back to my house

Disgusting customer service! Came here with friends last night. It’s was very very busy, so understandably this put pressure on staff. However this should not result in unsafe practise and rudeness! My husband and I had never been to a top golf before, and it was a good job we went with friend whom had, otherwise I don’t think we would have know what to, as it was so chaotic. The young lady who initially served us when paying for the games, was very polite, at times she was unsure how to put things through the system so asked a colleague who was so rude to her that it was on the verge of bullying within staff.
Once we were put in our booth and started playing we ordered some food using the QR on the table. It wasn’t the most clear on how to order etc, but did take you directly to the order menu. Once we order dessert my friends ice cream sundae came out without a spoon, when we asked for one the staff made us feel as if it was a huge inconvenience, and looked at us as if she didn’t even know what a spoon was. After asking 3 times one arrived, but by then the sundae has completely melted.
We also ordered churros, which once arrived surprised us with having fillings inside, due to the lack of description on the menu we a- didn’t realise they would have a filling but b-Was surprised when I ate them and started having an allergic reaction due to the filling being hazelnut chocolate! The menu provided no allergen information whatsoever. Whilst it was probably my responsibility to check with staff it was very hard to locate them. I also have never had churros with hazelnut filling inside- I try to avoid things in menus that may have nuts in. Once locating staff to check if the filling had nuts in, due to myself starting to have a reaction. The manager came over and advised that it did indeed, however it was my fault as I hadn’t checked on the website which advised I had to order through a host if I had allergies. No apology whatsoever for the lack of information on the menu you order through. The information advising us to order through a host was not easily visible or obvious. Even is we had been made aware to order through a host, the lack of staff would have mad this very difficult.
I was left feeling as if everything was my own fault, that I was completely to blame and that I was stupid. The only positive experience we had was the actual playing of the golf.
This really upset us, and we had to go home immediately due to needing to use my epipen, after eating due to my allergic reaction, totally ruined the evening.
So disappointed, I appreciate the pressures COVID has put on customer service, however safety shouldn’t be compromised and allergen information need to be more obvious and easily accessible.
Luckily this morning I am feeling better, but my reaction could have been so much worse:

I believe its up to 6 people. You can book multiple bays if you need to
How much does it cost

Correct above, but there are numerous discounts, for example unpopular times, students, military and emergency services. Outrageous cost to jump queue - as much as 50 pounds. I disagree with one writer above, the food is pretty basic and not cheap. At busy times, service can be a bit slow and haphazard. In one occasion they ran out of cutlery, and I had to eat chili fries with my fingers

It will only tell you the distances if you pot, thats about it. There are number of hole on the driving range that are at set distances, then you have a back net wich is 240 yards away.
Hope this helped
What do people think of the bay wait and how staff deal with it? I heard there is a time limit to get to your lane??

Hi UKGirl157,
Went again last night and it was great (again).
When you first arrive you are met by a member of staff who takes your name and phone number - depending on the wait you have to wait for a text. Last night there was no wait.
You then receive a text giving you a bay number and states you have 10 minutes to pay and get to your bay. This apparently is untrue according to a member of staff and they do give you a little longer.
I would say there is no reason as to why you would be any longer getting to your bay as you can take your food and drink upstairs with you!
Enjoy :)
