I went out on the 09:30 cruise on Saturday July 9th. Had a great trip and saw some Minke whales. The crew know their stuff about the whales and other marine life. The fact that this group also does research into the habits etc. of whales is vitally important to the success of the whales coming to the Bay of... More

Took a 1/2 day tour with this group last week - great staff, great boat, we saw several whales so were also happy! The crew know a lot about whales and birds too. I'd definitely go again. Loved the trip. Thank you.

EIGHT HUMPBACKS! Up close and personal. Captain went out further to find them. Our 2.5 hour tour lasted 5.5 hours and the crew were amazing! Excellent naturalist on board from Dalhousie U who really knew her stuff. Highly recommend!

We were early, just before the season started but we did see a Minke whale, lots of seals and some puffins. Full trip around the island, with great views of all the lighthouses. We'll be back another year in August and see some more, and bigger, whales.

It is something you should try once. We have been here a few times and love it every visit. The crew seems to know the whales, where they are going to be and how to make the experience perfect. The whales are very social so when they see the boats it doesn't take long for them to start to put... More

This exhilarating adventure is much more than a simple whale watching cruise. The crew is experienced, friendly and knowledgeable. Their passion is evident. They speak in familiar terms about the life history of many of the whales who they know by name. We saw 12 different and unique humpback whales. They were often so close that you could not only... The experience was amazing. It's one of those things I think everyone needs to do at least once in the lifetime. We had plans to go whale watching in Cape Breton Island however due to high waves tours were canceled. We ended up driving across to brier island. Drive was long however very interesting. Beautiful drive along the coast. Lots... More

Well, well, well - what a trip! Following the regulation 90 minutes route from Digby - 'don't stop catch the ferry! don't stop catch the ferry!' - we arrived on Brier Island and headed for BIW&SCL. We wanted a more up close and personal Zodiac type trip and the 1.00pm slot worked well for us. Donning our orange buoyancy sea-suits,... More
