Waste of time
Sep 2020 • Couples
After unsuccesfully trying to book a tour online (reasoning: during covidtime there is no online booking.. wtf) we went by train from Berlin and needed an hour. After waiting 45 min in a lane at the entrance tours turned out to be booked out for today (This was at 14:00). Thanks for wasting my whole day because of bad organisation.

Too busy....... very long line to get in
Jul 2020
Well that was disappointing! We had been here before and wanted to show the place to our daughter and son in law. When we arrived, July 14, 2020, the parking lot was already packed. Had to pay 2 euros. When walking to the entrance, we found out the line to get in was 1.5 hours waiting time!!! Of course we didnt get in line because we also had a 3 month old baby with us and it was 30 degrees. Was the line so long because they only let a certain amount of people in due to Corona? If so, why not have only online tickets available with timeslots? Or at least mention on the website that it could be busy and be aware of a long line to get in. You would expect some service for 11 euros per ticket. We were so disappointed!!

Disappointing
Nov 2019
Based on information I got, I expected haunting atmosphere in complex. Current state of site is very disappointing. Site consists of 1 short tree top walk with good view around and of 3 fenced buildings which are accessible only from outside. You can get in via guided tour in German (each hour) or English (2 PM) language. Tour for each building is quite expensive and it's mandatory to pay also for tree walk, even if you are not interested.

Amazing and interesting!
Sep 2019 • Friends
I went with a group of friends and found this to be a really interesting and fun day out. The combo ticket is good value. It includes tree top walking around the hospital and entry into the barefoot park.

What’s nice about this location is that it doesn’t feel overly touristy. It wasn’t too full. The guided tours are limited to twenty people per tour, so you don’t feel like you’re being marched around in a large group. You can take your time, ask questions and appreciate the beautiful surroundings.

A highlight for me was seeing how nature had taken over the impressive buildings and their structures. It’s not something you see everyday.

Not so haunted anymore
Sep 2019 • Couples
We found this abandoned sanitarium and hospitals in small town Beelitz is not quite haunting as it should be and used to be given all buildings are now completely fenced. Only the tour group led by a guide will be the wah for you to see the haunting interiors of the building complex. With €6 person you can take a skyway, a three floor above the ground on tree tops. The view for the deserted complex is superb but no plan to restore this precious old town.

Beautiful building but no tours in english
Jul 2019 • Family
We visited on the wrong day for English tours! So we picked up no information from the tour, but we did see the inside of the building and take lots of pictures. It’s a shame we didn’t see more as each location inside involved a 20 minute talk by the guide so we saw about 4 locations within the building. It was €10 each for a tour which lasted about 1 hour 15 mins

Oct 2018
Early 20th century sanatorium for tuberculosis treatment with holistic approach and progressive ideas. Join a guided tour to get all the details. Entry fee applies as well as another fee for the guided tour.

Can do treetop walk without tour, but costs you :-)
Aug 2018 • Couples
Looking at the website I had no idea what to expect.
Had read about the place and its deteriorated state.
Didn't understand what treetop walk had to do with it.
The treetop walk takes you through the complex - the best bits are the trees growing on the roofs of the buildings that are part of the walk.
You can only enter some of the buildings and as part of a tour.
Can also walk at ground level and see the exterior of the buildings - why wouldn't you? Husband's holiday highlight!

Too touristy. It has lost all the magic
Aug 2018 • Family
Yet another amazing place converted into a Walt Disney attraction. It is expensive , with a guided tour you only get to see one or two buildings inside. All the buildings are fenced so impossible to explore by your own. The walk about the trees is another insult to the beauty and haunting experience of the place. If you really want to discover abandoned places with charm I would avoid this tourist trap at all costs.

Not exactly what we were expecting!
May 2018 • Friends
Had read lots about this and we were eager to explore. Bit of a shame that much of the area has been renovated although it's good to see the buildings being used. Managed to avoid paying for a tour but still encountered the rude tour guides!
