Underground Cagliari

Much of Cagliari’s fascinating history is hidden beneath the modern city, and with this tour you can explore the warren of caves, tunnels, and crypts that date back centuries. Head underground with a guide to visit the crypts of Santa Restituta and Sant'Efisio, as well as the Salesian School Tunnel used to shelter students during WWII bombing raids and today lit only by candles.

This beach is very popular and we had to park on the nearby road. Make sure you park within the white lines as several cars hadn't and got fined. You walk down to the beach past a good cafe that sells ice creams and salads, panini and fruit salads You can rent a lounger for €4 and put it where you liked the pebbly beach. The sea is pebbly until you're in, when it becomes sandy. The bay is small and enclosed so the water is really warm. This beach appeals to young people and with no cafe on the actual beach, it was quiet with no music.

Amazing place. Beach quiet big with crystal clear water. We went in July twice. The first was still Ok and a week after a little nightmare because of the crowd. Most probably the true paradise is in June and September. Our fav beach till now. It is clean and with fine sand, windy enough to make your day bearable under a hot sun. A must if you are in the area.
