Quiet, and chilled, but enough restaurants and bars to make it interesting... good prices on drinks and meals too. You can book boat trips from here. Loved it for atmosphere and views, no beach as such, rocks and black sand, but worth a visit

The café at the end of the harbour over looks the sea and does great cocktails and coffee. You can also have tapas there too, relaxing place.

Walked around this a couple of times . Just the right amount of activity , boats coming and going . Nice Little area where the fishermen sell what they have caught.

Las Galletas is a little fishing village close to Golf Del Sur. We recently visited it on a couple of occasions, as we were staying in golf Del Sur. What a surprise it turned out to be. It’s a lovely place with the Marina Del Sur for leisure craft, boat trips & for the local fishing boats. There is also a small beach by the harbour where a lot of the locals go swimming.
There is a promenade area where there is a larger beach, which is used for swimming & surfing. Along there are numerous restaurants, both English & local cuisine. Behind the restaurants there is a small park & a play area. Beyond that you will find loads of shops, with a mixture of coffee bars & food outlets as well. It’s not on the grand scale of Las Americas with the larger fancy stores, but shops are smaller but every bit as good & the prices seem to reflect that. The one thing that stood out significantly, in the ones we visited, is that the staff, aren’t forever pestering you the minute you walk in the door as they do nearly everywhere you go. They don’t try to sell you anything just to get a sale!!
We did buy some shoes & some nice leather wallets for presents. Even the petrol was cheaper than up at Del Sur. You can buy fresh fish down at the Marina. Plenty of parking is available, & along with the toilets, are all free. The food is very good in the couple of places we tried out.
I would recommend it for a nice quiet day out sampling the local area. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

We spent a lot of time here, plenty of places to eat and drink. There is a fishermen's market on the corner. You can sunbathe on the beach to the right, the one on the left is a bit rocky. Lots of lanes with shops, people very friendly.

Las Galletas is a beautiful quaint little Canarian village....the harbour is surrounded by little bars of all nationalities.......the beach is a mixture of pebbles and sand, and is a great place to just chill and watch the world go by. There are lots of tiny alleyway streets to walk up and down, and shops of all kinds...... A must for a visit.
