Sassuolo (which is not far from Modena) is not a place that many visit as the town is not very interesting and industrial, except for the Palazzo Ducale, which is well worth the visit. As is the case with many of the grand eighteenth century...More

What a gem! Only €4 entrance fee and includes a personal guide. This palace is well worth visiting if you're in the area - well worth our 40 min drive. Sassuolo has lots of lovely bars around a square.
