Like a majority of people who visit Talisker, this was one of several whisky tastings that we'd booked during a short trip to the Isle of Skye, and just like many of the reviews, this was by far that best experience, in large part thanks to the very knowledgeable guide we had: Stephanie. We were the last tasting that day and therefore the only people in the room and Stephanie went out of her way to give us a very personal experience. She also did a great job hanging with our jokes, often rolling with the punches and she had a few amazing come backs as well. Due to the Covid restrictions, we also enjoyed a private shopping after the tasting. Not only would I recommend this but really encourage you to book Stephanie if you can. We've been talking about this experience for months, often sipping on one of the many bottles we each purchased.

We visited in November 2020 under Covid restrictions. The visitor experience was very safe and every precaution was taken. We were the only 2 on the Cask Tasting and Luke was our guide. He was extremely knowledgable about the whole whisky process and whiskies and was relaxed and friendly. As I was driving I was given a doggy bag to take away the four samples of the cask whiskies to enjoy at home which was great. Thoroughly recommended.

We had our tasting booked with Megan back in September 2020, and we still talk about that morning months later. Since we were the only ones on the tasting (4 of us), she tailored the session to suit us and what we wanted to know. She was very knowledgeable and so passionate about whisky and the process. We already knew the brand, but after tasking many scotch whiskies lately, we really loved trying a few in the range we hadn't tried before and really decided the brand is a clear favourite. To top off the experience, we had some exclusive time in the shop afterwards (Covid restriction days) and the customer service was personalised and very friendly. Cannot thank Megan enough and the other staff there on the day. We left very happy customers from a good experience and a bag full of amazing whisky and some souvenirs. :)

We visited several distilleries, but Talisker experience was the best so far. Gordon, who was our guide, was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Selection of whiskeys was good. Would definitely recommend to visit.

My partner and I went on a talisker whisky touring tasting with Hugh - one of the guides Because of covid the tour was brief but informative. The tasting was the highlight with four whiskies tasted( an extra was thrown in) and as I was driving we got to take some home with us to try at a different time. A brilliant experience.
