Splendid museum setting that guides the visitor on a historical, anthropological and cultural journey to the roots of peoples, traditions, spirituality, philosophy and religion. The exhibition is curated with great details and interesting historical finds and traditional craftsmanship which permeates the life and historical vicissitudes of the populations and cultures of origin.
A visit not to be missed in Arcidosso, which enriches and enhances the territory of Monte Amiata and the Rocca Aldobrandesca of Arcidosso itself. It would be nice if the further museum settings of the Fortress, such as the jurisdavid museum of the David Lazzaretti study centre, the collection of period weapons, the finds exhibited in the Medieval Landscape itinerary and the internal itinerary of the rooms of the Fortress, were modernized and enhanced as this particular exhibition of oriental art and culture is.
To best experience all the finds present in the museum setting and also visit the additional exhibitions present in the Rocca Aldobrandesca, at least a total of three hours is necessary.
